Hi from Maffra, Victoria, a very interesting video. I am a retired Dairy farmer,/ Truck driver, and in my later years a School Bus driver I retired at 70 years.
John, I have watched several farm channels and your videos have better content and more actual farming content all done with a good explanation and a healthy dose of personality. Please continue to make your content in the same manner since I see it as the best farming channel available today.
Why do I find your videos so interesting to watch? 😂 Been binge watching them like a popular Netflix show, and I’ve lived in the wheatbelt my whole life with a paddock 100m from my front door. Found myself still awake at 2am watching your videos last weekend. 😂🤷🏼♂️
Awesome vid. Brilliant drone skills, awesome effort Henry with the spraying that’s a massive effort. It’s only fair JH that you got a flat tyre gives the rest of the farmers hope they can keep up.😂😂😂
Great video once again JH!! I had to do a search to read about your mice problem. WOW!! That sounds really bad. Hopefully your mouse baiting will take care of anything that tries to make a go of it in the fields. WOW!! Simply amazing. Not sure of the cost but I think I would have gone for more like 5k per hectares instead of just the one. Really freaks me out with so many. Have a great day until I see you again!!
Gidday JH great to see the progress on Tom's Brook. Also glad to see the audio fixed itself, hope it didn't give you too much strife. Just a note at 16 mins 17 seconds, hope you remembered to email Jason!
The amount of times when I'm under pressure have jacked up tyre first before cracking nuts, easily done when your thinking of a thousand things at once 😂
Why don't you fabricate a widening extension for the auger tube so it fits snugly and won't tear and you then won't have to keep buying tubes. Why didn't you take both tyres to get fixed?
What do you spread to kill the mice? Is it by chance harmful to other animals? We have a terrible mouse problem on our farm in Canada is it a contact killer or do they have to eat it? Thanks!! Love the vids we are gearing up for seeding In southern Saskatchewan but just got 60cm of late April snow so we will be pushed back a week or two
It’s zinc phosphide on wheat. And yes the mice have to eat it. And there is a risk of native wildlife like birds eating it but if you spread at the right time of day and if there is a big enough population of mice the native animals won’t have a chance to get to the baits. Glad to hear you are enjoying the content!!!
Hi, How is it going mate ? I am Edgar from Indonesia and i am on Working Holiday Visa. I'm interested in Casual position in your farm as Tractor Driver / Forklift Driver and i am open for other positions that are available or hiring at the moment. Currently, i'm in Tassie but I have my own transport and willing to relocate as soon as possible if i got the opportunity. I could send you my Resume if you give me your email. Hope you got the second spare tyre fixed ready for next time! 🤨
It may still be sitting in front of the shed 😬
Nice videos mate 👍👍👍
I live in the USA and I have a 4yr, I wish he had the room to play outside without having to worry my head off.
What do you use for mouse bait and is it safe if other animal eet it.

So was it tyre or tyres that went to town? 😄
The “spare” may still be in front of the shed 😬
Was wondering the same! 😂
Can the snakes, hawks etc eat the dead mice after poisoning?
Yes they can, typically the mice will get back to their hole before they die though but there is the chance of native animals eating a poisoned mouse
Getting really bad in northern nsw with mice
Anyone know why it’s called ‘Tom’s brook farm’? Which brook is Tom’s?
Gona need some spare time for the spare tyre two get fixed.
Maybe you should try some of that mouse poison on your breakfast cereal see how it works !
MICE LIVES MATTER !
😂😂😂
