Lockett, TX Tornado Chase (April 23, 2021)

Friday, April 23, 2020 - My first real tornado chase!

We chased one dominating supercell (along with all the other chasers) that ended up producing several tornadoes south of the Quana, TX area, none of them doing damage to structures until the last one near Lockett, TX. We saw (at least) four tornado events out of the same cell!
We accidentally encountered some golf ball sized hail after the tornadoes were done, but my camera corrupted the footage and it's not recoverable, unfortunately. The car was unscathed. The beautiful mammatus and lightning we saw afterward make up for that.
Likely more chases to come this spring!
