Hi, I'm a noob and I wanted to make this class as a hyperburn since I don't like the hoyoung I'm playing right now. I wanted to play a class that is easy/braindead for mobbing and engaging, fun, and/or hard for bossing. Is that F/P mage? I realized that the real fun is testing my mechanics on bosses, either with high apm, positioning, micromanaging etc. But doing any sort of thinking during mobbing is kind of draining.
Hey! Given your criteria, I'd say f/p is a great match assuming you like the playstyle (many do not, and think it's clunky). Pros: -above average micro management in bossing (but not too complicated after a little practice) -easy mobbing (throw creeping toxin down on a long horizontal platform and cycle 5th job cd's) -ability to switch between the other adventurer mage classes -teleport Cons: -high level requirement due to requiring lots of node slots (negated by hyper burning to 250) -high legion requirement to unlock full potential (adventurer mages need buff duration to extend infinity uptime) -high node requirement (iirc f/p boosts 9 skills, though some are more important for overall damage than others) I'd say it's a good idea to try out 5th job and see if you like the new skills you unlock before burning. If you do, I think f/p would be a great choice!
I'm actually only hitting 10b per line! This was recorded during a period where unit damage skins were bugged, and the decimal point wasn't being displayed prominently
