11 Physics Chapter 2 || Units And Measurements 02 || Systems of Units - mks, cgs, fps

In this lecture I have discussed the Systems of units which are mks, cgs and fps from units and measurement chapter 2 of physics class 11. Besides systems of units, I have discussed the SI unit of Seven fundamental quantities and also two supplementary units of plane angle and solid angle which are radian and steradian. You have to know each system of units in details, it will be very beneficial for rest of class 11 physics syllabus.

This is lecture 1 of Class 11 Physics chapter 2, units and dimensions. In this lecture I have discussed what are fundamental and derived physical quantities. Units and dimensions is chapter 2 in class 11 physics and it contains very important basic concepts that you are going to use in entire class 11 physics syllabus. In this lecture I have discussed about seven fundamental quantities which are mass, length, time, temperature, electric current, amount of substance and luminous intensity.
