Kat Nielson my condolences to u man, I had a Cane Corso who had to be put down at the age of 1 due to a brain disorder which caused him to be extremely aggressive to people other than me. They are really hard decisions but they are for the best.
Agreed they should live longer than they do! My bull mastiff passed away at nearly 13 years a couple weeks ago!

I have one he is going to be 2 in December and they are amazing animals. He is my child! LOL but you have to be prepared for spending $200 on food at the least and $60 on treats a month and not to mention all of their kennel and bedding in the toys you have to replace constantly and you have to show them love because I can't not being around people which is awesome but again you have to have time for them. It's kind of like deciding to get a horse, you don't just get a horse and live or put it anywhere there's a lot of care involved. That's kind of how I feel about my baby Bruto

Beautiful boy! I have a bull mastiff as well named Cash and I LOVE the breed. Perfect temperament and they always want some love!
Good lord, he's wagging his tail, his ears are perked, this dog is not in distress. I have a half pitbull and I crawl my hand across the bed and tell him the tickle monster is coming for his feet. He then makes all sorts of noises, perks his ears, wags his tail, and "pounces" on my hand, before licking it like crazy. Sometimes he comes up and assumes a "play" position so I will do it for him. Also, for all of you who haughtily declare that this is somehow mistreatment and not play, I was trained by a professional animal behaviorist on how to work with my dogs. All of them recognize me as 'alpha' and my pitt is nearly 3 years old. This play has not had any negative impact on him. He is obedient, confident, and often accompanies my nieces and I to the park. He plays with the children, greets new people and dogs with confidence, and he listens perfectly to my commands. When dogs play with one another, they bark. Play does not demote you as alpha if you do not allow your dog to exhibit dominant behaviors. If this dog growled, pinned his ears, or showed any actual signs of distress, I'd be worried. This is play, folks, and one video does not make you an authority on this dog or his owner. Surely you have better things to do than judge people. If it's offensive to you, do something else. I, for one, thought it was cute.

Once I was by a friend of my mom he was taking care of a Bull mastiff , and he doesnt like much ppl but he felt in love with me xD giving me paws al the time and following me. I took him home for one day :3 he was so nice. He is now back to his owner but I will miss him. But I have my own Germen Shepherd he is the best dog of the world!
