Sinnis are really bringing out an interesting lineup in the 125 learner segment. A lot of riders just keep repeating the CBT, though. And a 125 makes great sense for some people for commuting.
@@exeterrider you can have lots of fun your not going to get in trouble never caught out by to much power lot of miles per gallon . I have done trips to France on the motorways .what's not to like speed is not everything.
Great mention about all bikes are not without their faults. Case in point, one of my friend bought a brand new Tuono. 22 miles on the click and the head gasket springs a leak 😳
@@NooBiker one of my mates had an apllia 125 in the 90s. Owned it for a year, but spent 9 months in and out of the garage. He gave up on biking after that..... Should have bought a SINNIS
Looks nice and for a learner that's important i'm thinking , if I had to make the choice in that position I would probably take the Hyosung as it's a twin just not to keen on singles . Good one as ever ER cheers : )
Really interesting bike, as you said ideal for the shorter and budget conscious person. Ideal to start riding and get going. Thanks for telling us about it 😁🖖🏼
Hiya, new sub here! I've purchased this motorbike in Feb 22 and it's perfect! Do you know what the orange light on the dash means please? It's the one on the lower right x
Had this bike a couple of weeks now. Done 260 miles and the engine management light comes on every ride. Been back to the shop a few times and they say its a ghost light, whatever that means. Definitely not happy with it. Will be going back again on my next day off
Hi, but of a quick fire questions if you were to pick between the hoodlum, the outlaw or the Aquila (all 125s) for a first bike, which would you pick and why? Love the channel and appreciate the amazing reviews ☝️
Hoodlum for comfort, outlaw of its mainly city work for filtering etc. But Maggie did you have a good local dealer for servicing! Thanks, I'm glad you found me! 😉
@@exeterrider I had trouble going down the gears approaching traffic lights, when going down gears it didn't seem to select any gear at all and no lights were on the gear indicator/display. I'd have to let the clutch all the way out before it violently crashed into gear which as a new rider was a bit frightening at junctions 🤣
Nothing wrong with that one. If your friends have 125 cc bikes or you just want one for bopping around, that one would be fine to fit the bill. Bet gas mileage is pretty good. I'm thinking a powerful E Bike with bigger batteries but I still get range anxiety.
@@exeterrider I have had a look now. The Hero they say has better than average under seat storage. But not one photo of the open seat. Does have discs fore and aft though.
Lol, no, they are good bikes for learner riders here. When you think that for a average Joe that wants to learn to ride, buying a Japanese brand to learn to ride, insurance, clothing, your looking at 6k! Which is it off track to most young people, using this bike is half that and more realistic. That's where these bikes work.
@@exeterrider that's great! I have been looking for some reviews of the Revolver for a long time (I live in Austria), couldn't find anything but good to know the Outlaw is the same bike under a different name
I am 76 years young and my Harley is getting a little too heavy for me. I have bought an Outlaw and am very happy happy with it.,
Very comfortable too arnt they. Good news mate well done 👍🍻

💯Percent agree. For the young ones on a budget, it means they can make it happen.

A very good choice for a learner on a budget providing, by the looks of it, that he is not that tall. Good review, ER.
Thanks Jim.

Hi Sarah, I think it may be a service light or maybe ABS, definitely worth taking to the dealers so they can plug it in and clear the code 👍

GV125 is best but not sure start the parts situation is like these days, which is worth checking. Its a joy to ride with good power.
Hi ER, I would you ever do your top 5 125cc bikes? You'll have a better idea than most people having ridden most of them, cheers james
I might be able to do top 3, it's a good idea thanks for that 👍👍👍💡💡👍👍just time to film in struggle with 🙏😎
Pleasant bike!
I didn't take one, but it hasn't got the right sorry of power to take a passenger I don't think.
What's happened to the adv 350 ?
Nothing mate, just another review this is 👍
Ok . I'll await the next adv instalment:)

Hopefully trying out some Sinnis later this year. Decided a cheap Chinese bike of reasonable comfort would get me riding quicker.
Have you a dealer near you Lilly, that's the most important thing I think.
There's one in Taunton. Will be going t Exeter to get the gear I need to do the CBT. Which is better Bridge or CMS?
