Testing Series VI: Balancing on a Cold and Dry World

For this video I'm still tweaking balance numbers, mostly around diplomacy. For variety, however, I ran a simulation on a world with a very non-Earth-like climate. This world is cold and dry, with huge polar ice caps and and equator dominated by deserts. Can civilization still thrive on such a world? Watch and find out!

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but Varewaram, the first power in this world, appeared in ~210 after the start of the simulation, and it's an agricultural nation (and therefore the first nation to appear on its territory.) The nation is therefore almost 6,000 years old! it's pretty impressive and a little frightening at the same time.
