I think most people don't realize that these girls came out of nothing. They made music in small clubs and were chosen from thousands of youtube contestants and won against the biggest artists in Germany. This is what makes it such a great band and such a good entry. We don't need perfect dolls who can't sing, we're happy with a great voice and a special melody. :P
Also "keiner" ist schlichtweg falsch. 2014 gab es 10 Länder (von 37) die ganz oder teilweise in Landessprache gesungen haben. Der Landessprachenzwang wurde 1999 durch den damaligen deutschen Delegationsleiter Jürgen Meier-Beer endgültig abgeschafft und das ist auch richtig so, da manche Künstler (besonders die aus den skandinavischen Ländern) diese Regel als Nachteil empfunden haben. Schau dir mal an, wie viele englisch- und französischsprachige Lieder schon vor der Abschaffung dieser Regel gewonnen haben. Dazu kommt, was @WaaDoku 【和ァ独】schon gesagt hat. Mit Englisch ist die Chance auf internationalen kommerziellen Erfolg einfach größer.
In 2010 no one thoughts, that Lena can win with Satellite. In 2012 all thoughts (in Germany) that Cascada will win, then Cascada was 21st. :( So it's my opinion that Elaiza can win the Contest.
