I've been trying to print an image on 11 x 17 paper. I had it set in Inkscape as well as on my printer using 11 x 17 Tabloid. The image would chop off like it thought my paper size was only 8.5 x 11. Going to try creating a smaller custom size tonight using 10.9 x 16.9. Fingers crossed this fixes my problem, I've wasted so much paper lol. Thank you so much for this video and for going slow enough for us beginners to keep up.
Thank you so much for this video! i have watched many videos on sublimation and by far yours has been the most helpful for deciding what program to use to design.
OMG thank you so so much!!!! You fixed my problem it was only print half the picture. Have had this problem for months but you fixed it. thank you so much al I had to do was size the paper a little smaller. it is working now thank you Lee
I just learned of Inkscape on Monday; it reminds me of Canva that i don't understand, but you explain this so well and i follow it to the letter. Thank you. I do have a question I hope you can help me with, when I download a digital image when I print the color aren't vibrate, can you give me a suggestion what to do.
This is wonderful information but when I go there it all looks different. Do you have a newer video with the same good info? I like Canva but someone told me to use Inkscape. I am not sure why? Thank you
thank you for this tutorial.. my question is why is it that when you try to print your design it has a lot of option to choose .. mine is not like that
This video was so very helpful! One question, how do you get your document properties dialog box and other boxes on the right side of your screen please? Thank you!
I need help I go step by step but some of our settings are different, I’m working on tumblers and my first time using my printer epson 2760 I converted it and cannot get the colors right what is your link to Facebook please
My boundary box is a lot bigger than the image I imported. And my image prints out smaller than the size I have put it. How can I get my boundary box to fit my image so that I can print the correct size?
This is a great video - too bad my print dialogue box looks nothing like yours. :-( I'm trying to print a landscape picture, but it only prints it portrait and resizes and reorients my picture so it prints portrait and my image is too small. So frustrating.
The version of Inkscape I have is different then yours. Cannot get the Image box to change size. Can't find the mirroring Icon. My preferences for printing are different. Can't change the size of paper, ect....
Why isn't my sizes, etc on the right side of my computer screen, I have to go to document properties to change the size I want my image., I'm also having trouble getting anything to print from inkscape this just started happening recently
My design is not printing. I created design on design space, saved as png using bull zip, want to bring into inkscape to be able to measure better by inches for my 16 oz tumbler….why do you think not printing?
Is there a way to slow down printing in Inkscape? My images print much slower in silhouette and those don’t have lines, but Inkscape does have lines and is a very fast print. I’m desperate for help!
This is the best tutorial for a beginner that I've seen! Thank you so much!!
Best, most concise video I’ve seen! Love that you pointed where the icons were before you clicked them.

They are sublimation blanks. They are coated for sublimation use. They are made from MDF boards.
Thank u for ur reply too bad as we use a plastic tag so the MDF would not work. Too bad I'd loved to have printed ones for livestock
How do I get the box on the screen? I am soooo new to Inkscape!
Hi Missy, do you have a video on cropping in Inkscape?
I'm so sorry I don't. The best way to crop I have found is to open up your picture before you bring it in and crop there.
Thank you soooo much!!! Just what I was looking for!!!
Explain so clearly
Great video !
Thank you so much.
This video was so very helpful! One question, how do you get your document properties dialog box and other boxes on the right side of your screen please? Thank you!
I use the 2017 version and that's where it comes up at for me. I go to file and click documents and then it will come up on that side.

Can I use Inkscape with Mac? Can you use an iPad also? It seems very easy to use after watching your tutorial.
Love the video! When I go to print, I get a black line along the top and down the left side of my image. How do I remove those ?

It should have the same settings. The settings are in the printer box not the program
