The next evolution of Onewheel GT: Firmware Friday

Today, we’ve got some big news for Onewheel GT. Here’s a breakdown:
Firmware Update
A few months back we worked with our Factory Pro Team riders to develop a new Firmware update for Onewheel GT S-Series focusing on riding improvements in a number of specific situations. It also introduced a new Gradient Tracking feature to enable increased hill climbing and downhill breaking. Today, we’ve brought that update to the GT platform.
• Landing improvements
• Improved stability through chatter and rough terrain
• Gradient Tracking Feature - dynamic responsiveness to changes in grade
Performance Treaded Tire Stock
The GT performance tire is a game changer. It’s an ideal hybrid tire with thin sidewalls and a profile that offers a high level of passive stability. Plain and simple it makes the GT riding experience better and today we’ve decided to include the Performance Treaded Tire stock from the Factory when you select the Treaded Tire option.
Torque Headroom - beta Feature
We are also excited to introduce a new beta Feature for GT and GT S-Series riders called Torque Headroom. Torque Headroom is a complex calculation of a range of factors including speed, battery and more to create a visual representation of the amount of torque headroom available while riding.
GT and GT S-Series riders can update their firmware immediately. Follow the instructions to upload new Firmware in the Onewheel App.
