i am getting the same one, i wanted to know on your permit setup my power co. says" you will need to ensure the AC comes directly after the MSP (Main Service Panel). well the way i have my 1 line page it goes like this, PV array ---> imo DC disconnect ----> growatt 7600tl-xh-us ---> pv kwh meter -->lockable blade ac disconnect ---> to my MSP into the bottom breaker of a 240v 40 amp breaker. do you see anything wrong with this design pathway?
Well I just finished your video and this certainly wasn't what I was expecting for a review. If you notice you had more views and comments on the video about the inverter and also told people there that you would be doing a 60 day review of that inverter. Notice how this video has lower views and overall interaction. DO A REAL REVIEW ON THE INVERTER please.
You've made somewhat of a mistake at 1:51 you've said your monthly is 1.4kw per month but that is only 1400watts. You should have written it 1,400kw which would be 1,400,000watts huge difference.
Sorry @JM, it's not 1,400 kw per month, that is a measure of power output at some moment. Power output over time is Energy, expressed in kilowatt-hours just like on your bill. So one month he produced 1400 kWhs.
No I didn't, its fairly simple just make sure the rings are in the proper direction and are the same order as the power leads to the meter. Once its correct the green light will be on.
@@whatsnextdiythank you, my 10kw grid tie inverter will be deleivered today. I thought the revenue grade metering was included with it looking at the spec sheet. But now I’m learning it is this smart meter that needs to be purchased separately. And I cannot find it for sale anywhere. I need revenue grade metering to track production for Illinois energy credits
@@dan33klein I bought mine from renvu and I think you can get them from signature solar although they are out of stock. I would call signature and see what they can do.
The one listed on signature is what I have but I think there is a newer version. Also your system will work without it but the web application will just show how much solar you made, it won't track how much you used or how much you sold back.
@@whatsnextdiy Thank you, I purchased it from signature solar. I will check it out when it shows up today. Hopefully it is built in. I know to receive the credits the metering has to be revenue grade and meet some standards and be accurate to .05%. Which is what the growatt specs say. But it was listed under interfaces
Thanks for watching everyone, I'm excited to see how the next 10 months of solar goes. Hopefully its great and I make improvements in videography!

@@charliewill4509 You're stretching my memory, but seems to be correct.

I made it over. I'd like to get your input on how much heat the unit puts off?
I assume you mean the Inverter. I haven't noticed anything significant as far as heat.

Finally someone caught it. I noticed it once I uploaded it.
