Does anyone else lowkey miss "old" Janna before her rework last year? I really liked playing Janna as a peel/disengage support with Glacial and Moonstone, now I feel like I'm trolling if I don't go Mandate and W max because of how good it can be. I know most Janna players prefer current Janna because damage fun, but Janna is meant to be the queen of disengage more than anything.
You can still go that build, it's what I do. I put a couple points in W then max E. Its worse early in terms of dmg but you get a better late game and more catch potential. It works for me in Diamond-Master elo.
not really tbh, im happy they brought old janna max w comet back, i feel like even playing w this build you can still be big on disengages
I definitely love current Janna for her engaging and faster playstyle, but I do feel like some aspects of old Janna could carry over. I feel they nerfed Glacial way too hard by reducing the slow amount, so Janna has to play more aggressively now. The meta is damage creep, so she has to encourage that playstyle.

I mean, nah. I deal dmg (only in safety positions), I deny poke dmg with shield, I catch them with my Q knockup and flash ult combo, I disengage most of the assasins and i am the speed. Current janna is so fun i hope it stays the same.
No offense tho, this is just my opinion. Also just playing dmg supports are sometimes limiting. I can go lux for more dmg but she has less peel compared to janna (janna has a knock-up and slow and another yeet on ult even tho lux's Q is strong and her E slow kinda works.) and janna can protect better. So she is both the dmg and the blessing rn.
Draven and Janna can make a strong bot lane duo. Draven's high damage output and Janna's protective abilities create a balanced synergy. Draven players are a different breed. They don't let supports get minions with support item stacks (which gives them the Gold anyways!), and then they flame when supports don't have their item complete (maybe it would be complete if ya let them last hit a minion or two). Every single Draven I've played with, they're all like this.
I don't blame the people, I blame what the champion does to them. Draven is like Radiation. Prolonged exposure gives you (and makes you) CANCER.
