Drago evolved 3 times in 39 episodes then once more in the next season, despite becoming “God” after defeating Phantom Dharak. The og partner departures were handled fine IMO, especially Skyrus whose was dealt with directly in a bittersweet manor. Preyas was much needed as the leader of the Aquos Bakugan and stayed behind to guide them. The og female brawlers treatment was definitely a big problem. They’d tease Runo and Julie joining the action, but leave them out of anything major at the last second. Hydranoid got nerfed hard and only battled once. Their Vestal replacements had some bad moments aside from Ace, though to be fair topping Masquerade wasn’t possible.
