    Welcome AJ! Good first review and your english is perfect. Thomas could be jealous about it :) Hope you'll be doing more good reviews. My advice- be more relaxed and give us more of your personal opinions. Evolve your own style and don't copy anyone, so we can say in a couple of months- "Hey, why review by Thomas and not AJ?" :)

      This is the third review of this car I am viewing, all I am subscribing to , other 2 US reviewers, this one better in my opinion and what is not little importance to me more honest and detailed. On top they are doing in rain for you and me! And if you watched all the way to the end he gained confidence and will get even better with time...enough said.

    great review aj. ive got to say after reading some of the comments from the other folks, i have to agree that aj is a great addition to autogefuhl. he seems to have a fairly relaxed and factual reviewing style. its easy to watch. keep up the great work. the qx30 is a nice car, the exterior im not in love with, its quite out there, the interior though is beautiful, i would suggest that its nicer than the mercedes equivalent.

    I think this is for people who want a sharp looking vehicle that has slightly more height but the nimbleness/driving dynamics of a sedan. I can see this doing very well especially for millennials and young professionals.

    Infiniti build quality, along with Lexus, Acura , Toyota hog the the top spots consistently in the U.S. and progressive Asian markets.
    Your review is refreshing compared to the traditional patronizing - condescending European and Brit presenters who seem ignorant and out of touch with today's global market. They forever rant on about classy dashboards. Just check JD Power and Consumer Reports in the U.S. The Japanese have progressed so far with hybrids, seamless shifts such as the in the Lexus SUVS, and the rest of their drive trains from Infinitii are their own Nissan engines.
    Scalable build quality that even Mercedes and BMW cannot touch. Today's consumers want this. Ignore at your peril. with looming mass Euro unemployment.
    Good job!

    Really good review. As in the past I was criticising Thomas for putting other guys at the front of the camera, I should admit now that Hey J😜 AJ may be very good addition to this channel. Presentation looks professional, your English is really pleasant and I see that you know a lot about cars. The only thing that I didn't really like is the length of the review, it was a bit to short. Good luck 👌

    AJ - great job, great review, well done, keep up the good work. Video? Very good camera angle set-up view when looking ahead through the windscreen, giving a really good detail of all the instruments and the road ahead, the Side Assist, the Surround Camera working, a good impression how the satnav displays - and you gave a very good commentary when driving - very well done. Did it have Adaptive Cruise Control (or Mercedes' Distronic? I thought I saw a Distronic control below the trafficator stalk!)? You didn't show us that! Or how the Surround Cam works! Very good review, very many thanks. Car? I quite like the interesting shape, and the quality; but like the C-Class/GLA, I couldn't live with the cramped cabin!

    Really good stuff AJ, interesting perspectives, professional delivery and stoic in the summer rain. Certainly has different bragging rights to the cliché X1, GLA, Q3, but is it as complete as the NX? Certainly the oversized aspirational badge in the grill has appeal to too cool for school urbanites, but will the yummy soccer mums of Europe shell out over a competent Qashqai and half a dozen summer holidays on the Adriatic.

    Top review there AJ, really informative reporting. Infinity QX30 is quite a looker in every angle from the outside, interior on the other hand is a disappointment I think. First of the various shapes used within the dash area is not really working. Infinity needs to come up with better idea to simplify everything.. it's a button-fest mess in there, honestly outdated design with the controls.

    I like the looks of this car. It won't be for everyone, but it appeals to me and it's different from other cars. The interior is very nice too.
    On top of that it seems to drive well, which only leaves me with the (big) issue of the price. Some people are willing to pay for the Mercedes brand name, but I doubt they will for Infiniti. In order to get things moving for Infiniti in Europe, a considerably lower price would be required in my view. I hope I'm wrong though, because I'd like to see more of these cars on the road!

    Aditya you did a great job, very good English without any German accent ;-) As for the car..I'm not a fan and I don't see how this would be profitable when the market will be tiny at least in Europe. Here in Finland we don't even have Infinity dealers I think...and it's a weird mix of Mercedes Renault and Nissan ;-)

    And why did you not put thomas on the rear seats vor a netter impression of the car size XD
    7.7 litres ?
    Thats much. Even for town :b
    in.my Family we have 3times 308sw 2.0 diesel automatics.
    Lowest is 5.1 and the highst one 6.5 (mostly town).

    Great review AJ. The QX30 really appeals to me - it certainly stands out amongst a sea of bland vehicles and Infiniti designer Hirohisa Ono certainly got this right in my opinion. Thankfully the chocolate Nappa leather is not the only option, as brown is probably my least favourite interior colour, but it seems Alcantara is not amongst the options at this stage. Vent placement is often a big gripe of mine in a car and having chilled air blowing on my hands would bug me too. As to which vehicle will be the bigger seller - the QX30 or the Mercedes GLA - I think I know what the answer will be.

    • @autogefuehl
      @autogefuehl  8 лет назад

      Afaik we had some Alcantara stuff in the Q30 review!

    • @27degrees
      @27degrees 8 лет назад

      +Autogefühl - watched it again and indeed you did, but not sure it applies to all markets. The American website only shows leather (which is what I was looking at when I made the comment), but the vehicle hasn't launched there yet, so the options list might change.

  • @Rapture77

    Accents are less important than content. Both Thomas whose accent is strong and lovable, and AJ present with detailed, balanced content.
    For customers who are serious about cars these 2 guys deliver. I live in America and Asia, and see this as a promising trend.
    Btw, free markets have shown up the desirabi!ity of Japanese brands for top notch scalable build quality in huge sales, unlike protected- manipulated - warped markets where Infinity sales are lower. Point? Just because as an indolent Brit presenter once introduced Infinity as an unknown brand in the UK, doesn't mean the rest of the world didn't know and appreciate it.
    The proof of the pudding is in the eating as they say namely sales in free and competitive markets. Kudos to the Japanese , as consumers get the best price-quality-performance value proposition. In short, consumers benefit the most .

    Great review! So this car is basically a Mercedes lol. The key, engine, rear bumper/exhaust pipes, interior driver dashboard, gear shifter, climate control panel, seat heater panel, seat control buttons (on the door), central rear view mirror and rear air vents are all from a Mercedes haha. (At least thats all the things I noticed).

    For anyone thinking of buying an Infinity QX30: Do yourself a favor; first sit in the QX30, and then go to your nearest Subaru dealer and sit in a Subaru Forester XT, and you will notice what having a 'LARGE GREENHOUSE' around you can make your life so much better and easier. Most likely you will end up buying the Subaru Forester XT instead of the QX30.
