Great video. I like the way that you compared how Clone rolled on the house shot and the heavier volume shot compared to the other two balls, and threw in a surface change too.
I hope many people see this. Great illustration of how the balls get separated a LOT more on the tougher patterns.
HIS BALL REVIEWS ARE GREAT HE PLAYS LOTS OF ANGLES WHICH I LOVE AND EXPLAINS WHAT THEY DID AND WHY,CB KEEP DOING THESE PLEASE..
Appreciate seeing this ball on both a heavy sport shot vs. house pattern. Thank you!
loved the 2 pattern multiple ball review on this, nice job, that spare shooting was on point as well.
Thanks for the ball review.. showing the way the ball reacts with different surfaces seperates your videos from others.. its awesome!! Ty!
Glad you like them!
Hi @BeefandBarnzy ! Great video! I just found out that there is a Clone released as an overseas ball. The only difference is that it has 2000 grit finish oob. Will that give a big difference from the Exotic Gem? I'm thinking this can be a replacement for my Gravity Evolve Solid Asym (sanded/matte finish) slot. I already have the Exotic Gem for the solid asym polished slot. Will the Sanded Clone be a good replacment to my Gravity Evolve?
The ball description on the Storm website is in fact worth the read. Love the not-so-subtle dig at a particular governing body.
I just got back into bowling recently and accidentally left my 17-yr old Backyard Bully in the trunk of my car during the most brutal Arizona summer. I took it as a sign that I needed a new ball. Thank you YT algorithm and I'm stoked to check out my RotoGrip Clone later!
Barney.....I love your honesty.......there is far too little of this in bowling.....and life in general.........keep doing what you do.....and Linda is your biggest asset.......
Great Review!!! I love the comparison of house v. sport shots with different types of balls. Chris, I remember my first, what I term, my real first bowling tournament in college. My first year was somewhat of a waste. Anyways, I'll never forget watching and bowling against both you and everyone on the Wichita State Team. It really knocked me down several pegs and made me a better bowler. So Thank You,
That was terrific. I have the Absolute and love it.
Another great review gents! The commentary is both informative and entertaining. Strikes for show, spares for doh!
Thanks, although Strikes for show, strikes for Dough!! $$$$
@@BeefandBarnzy true... pretty hard to beat an 8 bagger
for me I can throw pretty much any ball as long as I throw it good it's not always about the ball you always want to be sure you're not doing anything wrong on shot before making ball changes for me that is no matter what the oil pattern is my very favorite is Viper and Chameleon what's yours
I'm a speed dominant bowler, so this might be right up my alley
I'm kinda liking the Zen Gold Label these days.

Awesome comparison! ❤
Thank you for making this video
Amazing video about bowling ball
I have a higher ball speed plus I play from outside with a good amount of hand.
5.25x6x3 is his drilling. FYI
Thanks Stu!
Shame it was a week late :S
Is the mass bias in your thumb?
With that volume, I'm guessing you had a reverse block of sorts going on in the pattern. If the middle was dryer than normal due to it, it's understandable why this ball overreacts. But it came off the edges better than expected
It wasn't a reverse block. Just a regular pattern 3:1 ratio, just with 37mls of oil rather than 25. Ball comes off spot hard, cause it isn't losing energy in the front like normal
@@BeefandBarnzyI took this ball for a spin at a demo at my league house. Those lanes are notorious for being dry. So I thought this had no chance there. But surprisingly, it performed VERY well, despite the lack of oil. Possibly a replacement for the Exotic Gem?
Chris how this clone compare to the gem?
Would the clone be a good big brother to The Duo ? Or would you recommend the exotic gem or eternity 900?
Think Clone would be ideal, Eternity a smoother option.
Chris Barnes coo as fuck fr
Just casually picked up that crazy spare 2:59
I would like to see how this ball compares to the TNT and Xponent
Those balls are quite different. TNT is early and less over all. Xponent will be cleaner and less overall. Xponent a more similar quickness off the spot. TNT much slower response
Great video! Is this the ball you would use on the sports pattern you were bowling on?
I can only imagine how quick the pearl version will be. Depending on which pearl cover we get.
Bowlers speak Kling-on.
Your timing was a bit early on those shots you missed
I figured that this was a replacement for the UFO.
It may well actually end up fitting that gap if you add more surface
I have to apologize to you Chris, all this time I used to chuckle because thought you were referring to a 'Louisville Lanes' and completely butchering the pronunciation. But in fact, the place is spelled Lewisville. My B
It's not easy bein green.
lol
Great video. Love your personality. 🤦♀️🫣😁
