Pretty hard to find zygarde cells when there's no routes anywhere near you and no one in your ever reducing local pogo community can create one...
On top of that it takes 250 cells in all to get to 100% form. This update is bs

@@ReverseEmpyrus We’re supposed to. But Niantic had the bright idea of a slow rollout, and to put event bonuses behind the new feature.
In my eyes, if they really wanted to do a slow rollout, then they should notve had an exclusive event in the first place.
@@ReverseEmpyrus no. Only a very select few can, and then only some routes are being accepted, so Zyguarde is nearly impossible to get
@@BobbyJCFHvLichtenstein you get an encounter with Zyguarde before the route part becomes a requirement.
It would actually be nice if Niantic could, you know, make the game fun to play for everyone that doesn’t live in a big city…

Nah, many people have it. The full form is what will be tough for most to get.

I think once you catch Zygarde from the research and get access to the Zygarde Cube then you can find Zygarde Cells on Routes 👌
Cell drop rates are trash I done 31 been had the cube

Went a route 8 times and only saw one Zygarde cell. Hoping the route functionality gets cleaned up, its very buggy right now.

slight route theory here:
when following routes some pokémon spawn directly on the route. when you click on them they have the route symbol above their name/CP. catch that and a zygarde cell will appear nearby
Every time you did the route after collecting the 2nd step of the research and not doing the 3rd step, I was screaming at my screen for you to collect the rewards before moving on. (Reading what Willow said would have told you what you needed to know about collecting Zygarde cells.)

Even for spoofers it's extremely difficult, maybe even impossible to obtain a 50% Forme Zygarde or even a Complete Forme one. I really hope they eventually add new ways to obtain Zygarde Cells, like they did with Mega Energy, otherwise I'm never changing my Zygarde's forme...

Congratulations on being able to do routes. The local route that I got approved is bugged. It keeps asking me to go back to the starting point every few minutes.
I'm assuming because I have a newer phone, but I cant even go onto a route without it crashing

I don't mind that routes aren't available to everyone yet. I'm assuming they'll eventually roll out route creation to more people. But the fact that there's currently an event going on with perks that are for routes when there are like no routes yet is pretty stupid. Not that I'm missing out on much I guess, 3/4 buddy candy distance while following a route isn't that important. I am curious about how this feature will affect the game, we'll just have to see.

The current estimate for cell spawns are between 2.5-5% base from the small amount of data. I'm going to wait for the data on how the badges work and if they have an effect on spawns in a similar way that region badges do for catch rates then decide if forming routes is something to work on or not
I think more people have not been given the ability to create routes because Niantic can't even keep up with the report of problem with people reporting there are no routes nearby, or the routes can't be completed because the game repeatedly pauses routes despite your walking on the available routes.

Besides that, not being able to create routes as of right now and none existing in my city was a pretty big downside.
Glad to hear that the Shiny Ponyta is are not a myth. I've been trying to find one throughout this entire event and haven't come up with any. I agree shiny Rapidash is one of the best out there.

Omg I love Zygarde because I watched XY and XYZ so much when I was younger. Sadly, there are not many routes where I live in the uk, but if I wait a bit more I’m sure I’ll be able to level up Zygarde!
Same with me it looks like the ability to create routes has only been turned on for either A: Certain areas or B: Certain people. Either that or it’s bugged, which honestly would not surprise me
I was have only done three routes so my survey size is rather small but the only cell I found was on a 1km route. Also Niantic counts each route twice because you can do the forwards and backwards but only shows you the route once in the list.
I did the after dark and 3st route and only got 2 cells on after dark which led me to the conclusion that the cells will spawn more on long routes

I think it’s extra hard to find cells right now because almost every corner of the world doesn’t have routes and can’t create routes.
Every time you say 'routes' I hear 'ralts' 😂 Fortunately my ears have now adjusted!
The fact we can’t create routes is annoying , luckily I got the hundo which is 1018 for anyone wondering so I’m still stocked and hopefully that later we will be able to create said routes
It is easier to see at night. I did my first route at 6:30am, and just saw a cell but it wasn't rendered properly, but still tapped and got it.
Walking a route also acts like incense, spawning trainer specific pokemon.

No routes where I’m at 🤷♂️ Between this, some events only being 3 hours, remote raid nerfing… not sure how much longer I’ll be playing this game. Go Fest will be the ultimate test of how much Niantic wants to shaft their consumers

Zygarde cells is like trying to find the legendary Pokemon Ditto. And I've been hunting for a ditto this entire month.

Unexpectedly, Campfire is how I found the people that found the routes.
I think because some of us still can't follow or create routes, zygarde cells are possibly postponed rollout....
Mystic u have to catch the pokemon that spawn on top of the route ur following(that pokemon does not have any animation around it when u see it)
Think having Zygarde as your buddy helps cause I found a few cells on Route that I have near me
Despite the title you can get Zygarde without any Routes.

Too bad the vast majority of us don't even have routes, let alone cells.
i’ve found two i could only catch one, it spawned at the end and when the route was over it disappeared, after a grand total of 6 hours of walking
Same for me. Drove an hour to the cities, had to park and walk 20 minutes to get to the route (no parking near it) then spent over an hour walking it 3 times. The first cell showed up right as I finished the first route but disappeared. I got it again right at the end of the third time doing the route but I was ready for it and captured it. This is going to be a nightmare to get 250 even if routes were everywhere

Must be nice to have routes. I don't live in or near any place urban enough apparently for the feature, because no one has it around here. Typical of Niantic to hate on rural areas by having features that either don't roll out at the same time around here or having pokestops or gyms be the deciding factor on how good a feature is, but whatever I guess. I just have to accept that Niantic hates rural areas.
routes are just not getting released very fast. I went to the old town area of my city, a museum and two parks and only found routes in one park.
@@TraumaAlertZepplin Bull. There's an event going on that requires you to do routes that ends tomorrow at 8. You don't roll out a feature that instantly has an event tied to it. Niantic just didn't give it rural areas because of perceived profit margins, once again showing that they don't follow their own mission statement unless it looks profitable to them like with remote raid passes. Don't lie for a company that doesn't care about you.

How to actually get Zygard cell :
1. follow the route
2. catch the pokemon which spawn on route i.e. pokemon caught on routes.
3. after catching walk slow and wait, cell should appear.
It worked for me, I have like 4 cells after following 4 routes.. let me know if it actually works for everyone
maybe you need to have zygarde as your buddy to get the zygarde cells, i do not know for sure. i have no routes near me so i can not test it.

I live in a city of nearly 1 million people and drove around today looking for routes and didn't find a single one. I think I'm going to wait a few weeks before I try this again since Niantic once again dropped the ball by rolling this out before it was ready.

I’ve gotten back into Pokemon go for a few days now after a long break, but I’m really struggling to find any revives. Wondering if they’re actually still a thing or can you only buy max revives from the shop now?
They are out there, mostly from spinning gyms or gifts from friends
This thing is still on a beta form I guess xD in Athens there is no routes and I can't even submit a route, there is no button but I traveled to a nearby city like 2 hours from Athens there was only 1 route, I did it twice and never count, plus always the route went on pause and resume by it's self, so yeah probably gonna take some months till it's glitch-ready for everyone 🤣
It's not really a "form" if you can't change it back. This is just a different (more difficult) way to evolve a Pokemon. I'll be waiting till we can get more before I waste these cells on evolving the 2* I got. Routes look interesting. I'll keep looking for one to show up somewhere.

Some spoof was moaning that he done almost 90 routes and found only 2 cells. That was on the first day it was released. In some areas, like mine, there is basically no routes whatsoever and barely anyone who can actually submit a route. Well done niantic.
Need a Routes map on CampFire. So many areas don't have any right now.
