Can't blame her death cause tho... It had meaning.. It shows us that people might go unexpectedly .. Even if they have a decease or not.. But what matters is the influence of them in our life.. That's why it was important for him to know if she saw his message.. That she a was a great influence in his life..
The movie lets us feel the feelings of the male character. At the start we do our best not to get attached to Sakura but as the movie goes on we realized we don't want that inevitable thing to happen..... And then BOOM it happened!
and it happened in the most unexpected way
.
you missed the point of the ending. Cherish the journey of life no matter how long or short it is.
both you and this movie are criminally underrated
*spoilers*
I think the stabbing was a sort of "Chekhov's gun", because somewhere in the beginning they mentioned a random stabbing on the news, and later talked about how dangerous the area had become. I can definitely see how it feels cheap, and those two instances were very difficult to miss because it was a blink and you miss it kind of thing, but I dont feel it was put in just to catch you off guard.
If you read the manga, they make it more clear, but when I watched it the first time, I completely missed the parts where they mentioned those things
i haven't read the manga, in fact I just watched this today and was so captivated I was scouring youtube for videos discussing it lol good vid btw, I just had that one thing to point out.
@@MisterFrodo Thanks! I haven't read it either, but I heard people talking about it on a reddit forum. I think it's actually a light novel not a manga btw, so if you're searching for a manga, it might not be there.
@@anihive8487 its actually both from what ive learned. Started as a light novel, then a manga, then a live action (which i really want to watch becausr my attention span doesnt let me read any more), then this amazing anime
@@MisterFrodo Ok, thanks for the info! I knew about the live action and the anime movie (obviously), but not the manga so thanks!
I watched the anime and the live action In the same day. That's a very bad idea.
Why, they're so different?
Ngl this channel was super underrated, don't worry I'll support it!:)
5:33 If this movie wasn't aready great enough, you just had to go ahead and add another masterpiece, Clannad soundtrack? YOU JUST GOT A SUB!
The whole point of the stabbing death was to show her point that any day can be your last
I'd watched the anime version living with dying and from my it's one of the best movie I've watched till now and it's a must watch movie for anime lover and for those who are searching for one of the best movie they could see
The Damage Pancreas Plot: Am I a Joke to you?
The manga explained the ending that the murder was basically the world giving him an FU
Wow! Great video! It made me really interested in this movie.
spoilers:
i think the way that sakura dies was meant to show exactly how any day could be your last, you were expecting her to die from the pancreas disease, yet she didnt because in reality very few deaths are expected, plus there was a lot of foreshadowing for it and it therefore makes the impact so much harder hitting in my opinion
great review :) also one of few movies that made me cry a lot. Sad and beautiful movie
This vid made me watch this movie so like, 10/10 video, 10/10 channel, have a beautiful day mister
Edited my typo and the heart disappeared, shucks
Great movie. I just completed watching it .
“Don’t take no for an answer!?” *punches Me
Yeah, like that
very good job : )
Great movie but fuck me im broken now. Watched it todays ago and its message is still hitting me.
So what's the deal with his name, why is it not revealed unto the end?
So, it's like the Fault in Our Stars, but for weebs...the Fault in Our Waifus. Also, the creators had to know that naming the main character "Me" would lead to some who's-on-first type shenanigans for video reviews.
Spoiler:-
In my opinion her death cause is what made this movie a master piece
Whats the name of the song you've put over the top at the start of the video??!?!?! Been searching for hours
It’s 10am from animal crossing new leaf. Also, if you’re interested in knowing what songs or what videos I used, the credits always has the info in order of seen or heard.
After watching some reviews I don't have the courage to watch this anime 😭😭😭
This movie man it’s something different. It’s really good
Vro I watched this movie right before my physics 2 ap n MAN I was fucked up for that test 😭
Where can i watch the movie?
Mr. Cucumbero Ok, so you could have watched it on feb 7th or 10th in theaters, but right now it’s not available. You’re probably gonna have to wait for the dvd to come out so it can become licensed so some company can pick it up for streaming. If you want to watch it now, you’re gonna have to use “other” means if you’re catching my drift.
@@anihive8487 Thank you for the infos , i will wait for the dvd anyways have a good day !:D
Mr. Cucumbero No problem! I forgot to say in the video.
Kiss anime.ru
Yerrr this hit me hard man
Me too. Harder than atomic bomb and nuke combine.
why is he called "me" (or "boku")
It’s because his real name is a spoiler which they explain more towards the end of the movie.
@@anihive8487 ive watched the movie (in dub) but i might have missed it. Could you explain?
@@kindnessisalie5411 His name means spring tree while the girls name is sakura meaning blossom. Hence they go together.
This movie messed me up!
me too but Good I watched this movie it changed me.
Spoiler
The hardest part was when Sakura dies.
