The Man from the pattern land I kind of assumed they were okay with it based on the way they talked about the couple they mentioned (sorry no clue how to spell those names). They weren’t disrespectful they just complimented their adopted child rather than say something like that poor child or something like that. Idk I got the same sense they were okay with gay couples just based on that one conversation. But they also didn’t seem grossed out or upset that their son was friends with (as they thought at that time) a gay couple.
Raj can't speak to women due to being abused and mistreated and being afraid of them. He's lived with his mother and sister his entire life, I'm sure they don't count in his mind as people to be frightened of

Using Fiddler as an example to get Raj to go through with an arranged marriage is completely missing the point. Sincerely, A fellow Jew

@@youmustcreateachanne Nope.... Many things they showed about Raj are incorrect. Rich Indians living in the capital have had broadband since the 90s, they have never heard about or watched Doogie Houser, they don't donate cows in their weddings or speak with a cartoonish accent that is completely alien to India. Just like west doesn't have slavery now, but still have colour based discrimination.
