In this video I make a pot and planter stand from a 2x4 using limited tools. I used 3 very cheap tools. A $15 plane, a $20 pull saw, and a $10 set of chisel.
Thanks for watching

I did not show it in the video, but I should mention I put a rubber liner in the pot before putting in my plant.
I was impressed when Steve Ramsey made a shop stool from one 2x4 . This is beyond impressive
honestly I'm learning alot from you, I made the bar stool and it came out great! thank you for providing amazing content, God Bless!
beautifully crafted work /excellent professional job
Josh that was a great build and an ingenious idea ! Probably a nice gift for your mom on mother's day 👍
Nicely done, Josh. I bought one of those HF planes years ago. Couldn't get an edge on it and threw it away. Glad your's worked out better.
Billy
It's not as fun to use as my other planes, but it gets the job done :)
Nice design. My son is taking up more woodworking, and your examples of what we can do with simple dimensional lumber are helpful. Thanks!
That's great, I'm glad to hear it
I’m just absolutely mesmerized by how talented you are! I recently found your channel and I’m learning so much!! Thank you for sharing!!
Tan joven y tan inteligente!!! 😃😃😃
Great job, again.
We will watch your career with great interest.
Excellent build. Thank you for showing us how to do it with a minimum of tools.
I always look forward to watching your videos!!
Great job Josh! Keep it posting.
👍👍👍Thanks for a nice and interesting video.
Nice planter Josh. Thanks for sharing. Regards Col
Very nice. Good job.
Great video. Love this project.
Nice work, glad you're on the playground!
Anyone who uses power tools should build a project like this with hand tools first. Nicely done.
That came out so nice and I can't believe you used just one 2x4! Could you please say how many inches from the bottom of the legs did you cut the notches? I believe I am going to try this!
Glad you liked it. I have the notch on center of the legs. in other words, the center of the notch would be 11" up
You should watch his lounge chair build from one 2 x 6 , it's amazing what this young man can do
Wow!! Watched you for a while now and that’s just amazing the precision on your cuts is awesome well done young sir!!!
Feel free to drop a link for your saw !!!
Thanks, I am glad you liked it. This is the saw I use www.homedepot.com/p/Vaughan-10-in-Pull-Saw-with-Composite-Handle-BS250D/100373697
Ok so not to not pick but I'm missing tools from this video 1 is bench vice 2 is a set of clamps! Other then that great video
Do you ever put out any of the plans for your projects....I am going to make this project this weekend.
Anyone willing to spend this much time and dedication should just go out and by them-self a $20 of less jigsaw, hell just get a table saw and a miter saw...
I use power tools in my other videos, this video is more for those who can't afford tools like a table saw.
Josh Wright of course, this was just a proof of concept showing that you can make it without power tools, but like I said, your better off just going out to buy power tools...
