      Hi Josh, I've probably asked this question before. I wanted to know about your miter saw. is it worth the money? Is their any problems with the saw? Pros vs cons? I am looking to purchase a new miter saw, there are many review videos on line but I've seen your videos and i know you put your saw to work. Is that your only Hercules saw or have you had to replace the saw over time? Thank you for any feed back.

    Awesome project. I'm still blown away by how you use tools for something other than their intended purpose and make such beautiful projects! I'm sorry I missed the bucket.😔

    Josh, early on I enjoyed watching you make crazy-out-of-the-box designs. Now I’m learning a lot from you. You have a great mind for design and woodworking. Your jigs are great as well!

    If you can make such a beautiful things with “normal”, workshop tools, with cnc or something similar you will probably make a real, beautifully designed, space rocket!

    Well done Josh, I’ve been a cooper for 35 years and I’ve seen people try there hand at buckets and coopered liquid holding vessels (white cooperage) great job mate! Your method is nothing I’ve seen before but the end result is fantastic. 👏🍻

    If you pack the bottom groove with ground flaxseed it will expand when wet sealing the bottom. Just need to make the disc a little smaller. From what I’ve heard it lasts a long time. Nice job.

      @@JoshWrightWoodworking Maybe it's because you're rushing it. You could just take off-cuts and test your stain there, until you're satisfied with the result.

    I don't get how you figure out how to make stuff like this. The nethod is as cool as the project itself. I have a bandsaw I don't use because I can't figure how to stop the blade from falling off. New saw, used it twice. Great job.

  • @ifiwooddesigns

    Absolutely brilliant as always. Would love that bucket but not going through Etsy. Watch all your videos and comment for the algorithm. Maybe easier to choose winner from random comments on here instead.

    • @JoshWrightWoodworking
      @JoshWrightWoodworking  5 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for watching!! I thought about choosing a winner through comments but that would make things difficult on my end. I would have get the winners email, ask for their address, calculate the cost of shipping, and have them PayPal me the shipping cost. Sorry, I know it's annoying for veiwers, but I want to do more give aways in the future, and at the moment, this is the easiest/ most sustainable method for me.

    How well do you like that saw ? Would you feel a more expensive brand would do a better job ?

    • @JoshWrightWoodworking
      @JoshWrightWoodworking  5 месяцев назад +1

      I like the hercules. Has some features that other mitersaws at simular price points don't have. Dual bevel, up to 60 degree cuts, shadow line, and a 14" cut capacity. It has its faults and I'm sure their are better miter saws out their but for the price, I don't think there is a better value.

    Historically a lot of buckets were made of pine because it swells and won't leak.
