Got my Abyss, Aliens, and True Lies in my mailbox yesterday. I preordered mine from Disney Movie Club and only paid $15.04 each total with tax and shipping after purchase of one title at regular price. My full price title ended up being Snow White 4k which is currently a DMC exclusive format in the US. All had slips also. R.I.P Disney Movie Club.
If you're coming over to the Buffalo area, the best Walmart for steelbooks I found is the one on Transit Rd in Lancaster. Last I looked, they had Oppenheimer and American Psycho 4K's and a bunch of Blu-rays (Shivers and Rad and a bunch more I've forgotten). This was last week, so I'm not sure what they have, but they seem to have the most of the three I go to (the one on Walden in Cheektowaga and the one on Transit in Williamsville).
The steelbook I think looks most awesome is Batman Beyond. I grew up with that show and it’s the 25th anniversary of the show’s premiere so I’m glad it’s getting some love too!
I managed to get my copies of True Lies and The Abyss at the Walmart on Dundas St E on Monday. They had 2 of each. But I did manage to get the last 2 copies of Aliens at the Walmart on the Queensway, across from Sherway yesterday (Tuesday, release day).
I'm kind of pissed. I'm in the USA, can't even get this because there were so many pre-orders everyone is sold out. Best Buy Canada won't ship to the USA. eBay and Amazon used sellers just price gouging.
Nice haul man! Walmart has some sweet steelbooks too and the Batman Beyond: The Complete Series one looks awesome. Glad you got a day off and that you could find the movies you were looking for for the most part! You always do a fantastic job and keep up the great work please!
Good idea to get those in Canada, because I went to multiple Walmarts, today, as well as a Target and Fred Meyer and none of them had The Abyss, Aliens and True Lies 4K. Ive also checked other movie stores around me and theyre out of stock.

Lol thats the best buy near me. Didn't even know they still had that kiosk despite going through there often. I don't even bother walking that way anymore so I guess that's why 🤷

Pre-ordered Aliens months ago. My copy is on it's way as I type this. I wouldn't have bothered with the True Lies disc, the transfer is pretty bad from the reviews I've seen. Damn near as bad as T2.

My terrible low rent Ottawa Walmart had copies of Aliens today. They weren't there yesterday. They only had 2 copies.

Sad part is they have these movies well in advance sometimes, they should be stocking at close for open or just before open for new releases.

I went to the 2 Walmarts around my area and neither had any copies of any of them
I don't think Walmart even put it out on display in the store.

I just picked up all three movies at Georgetown Walmart. They have 3 copies of each movie left so if you’re close by hurry up.

What time did you pick up Aliens? They said my order was ready for pick up then canceled it lol. That was around 4pm
