  • Eduardo Aponte is a freshman at DAA who has been diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome. He brings to light the discrimination that people with determination face, and discusses the ways in which they are quite similar to neurotypicals. His goal in this TEDx talk is to encourage individuals to not shy away from interacting with people of determination. Eduardo Aponte is a student who was diagnosed with Aspergers/ADHD. In this talk, he speaks about his experiences as an Aspie, the discrimination against people with determination, and the ways in which we are quite similar to neurotypicals.     Everybody with Asperger's shuould be happy that he is different and can feel better for it. Not try to hide it. Use it, be happy that you are not standart nad you are different.
    I probably have Asperger's myself. I am also left-handed so I am double different =)

    We need to educate ourselves, and stop bulling the people who are, look, or think different, because after all we are more than 7 billion different minds, thanks to that we have advanced in all aspects throughout history.
