- The flight deck was full. The Black Knights just returned from CAP sortie. When the last Superbug land the flight deck was full and it has to be stow away in the hangar. The elevator was lowered down and the aircraft slowly moved into the hangar below the flight deck. Amazing!

DCS: Supercarrier is the most detailed and realistic simulation of a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier ever created. A Nimitz-class aircraft carrier is a nuclear-powered fortress at sea with a crew of over 6,000 sailors and airmen. The angled flight deck with arrestor wires and four steam-powered catapults support air wing operations of up to 90 aircraft. The ship also includes a formidable air defense system that includes the RIM-7 Sea Sparrow Missile and RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) missiles, and Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) gun system. A Nimitz-class aircraft carrier is the ultimate power projection weapon.
10 ships of the class have been produced, of which, we will include five of the Theodore Roosevelt sub-class:

CVN-72 Abraham Lincoln
CVN-73 George Washington
CVN-74 John C Stennis
CVN-75 Harry S. Truman
At release, we will provide the Roosevelt, Lincoln, and Washington.
The DCS: Supercarrier module also includes the Russian Kuznetsov aircraft carrier, the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, and the Su-33 Flanker D fighter.
Release features of DCS: Supercarrier include:
Highly detailed polygon model with high-resolution textures that include realistic weathering and markings.
Animations that include arresting wires, jet blast deflectors (JBD), radar antennas, aircraft elevators, catapult bubble between catapults 1 and 2, steam from catapults, and risers (guard rails) around aircraft elevators when lowered.
Detailed lighting systems that includes the long-range line-up lights, IFLOLS, Animated "rabbit lights" along landing area centerline, deck lighting, floodlights, and ship number on the island.
Functional air defense weapon systems that include the Sea Sparrow, CIWS, and SeaRAM.
Deck parking allowing up to 14 aircraft to be spawned on deck.
Dynamic carrier radio communications for Case I, Case II, and Case III recoveries.
Static deck vehicles (AS32A-31A Flight Deck Tractor, AS32A-32A Hangar Deck Tractor, AS32A-36 Aircraft crash and salvage crane, P-25 Fire Fighting Vehicle) that can be placed by mission designers.
Animated deck crew for bow and waist catapults launches.
Static deck crew that can be placed by mission designers.
After release, we will expand Supercarrier with additional features that include:
Air Boss station.
Briefing room.
Occupy the Landing Signal Officer (LSO) station with PLAT camera, including VR support.
More LSO station interactions.

Lt.Riot, Lt. very true and being as how u was stationed on board CVN 68 and CV 63, in S-5/WARDOOM, even when at sea for workup Battle E exercises the Hanger Bay was never that empty

So the elevator can be triggered in multiplayer too. The elevator will lower the plane into the hangar below the deck. Nice!

Amazing ... pity that you don’t share how its done.
You need to keep the flight deck full with static aircraft but do not obstruct the elevator. The AI aircraft then will automatically park in the hangar below the flight deck. Give it a try and good luck.
So what about player controlled aircraft? Can we go to the hanger yet? Or we still waiting on this?
can you share the mission file?
Its easy to do, just go into the ME and start placing the static plane on the deck. You need to place it at the place where usually the AI plane park after landing. That way, when the AI detected those spot are occupied they will go to the elevator and park underneath the deck. Good luck :)

@@camovecmin4968 It looks quite interesting, yet without representation on Nexus it might just not exist at all. Trying to "build your own DCS" like you can with some other games falls flat almost immediately with the tool and sites we have. Sad, but true: even knowledge about mod version and available updates is a horrible pain with just a few installed. Compatibility, load order, etc is just nonexistent -- JSGME broke my game _four times in a row_ while resolving some terrain mod conflicts and trying to uninstall the mods. Discord won't help that.
