Incroyable! I've hiked up to the Aiguille du Midi through the massive crevasse fields of the Valle Blanche and also climbed Mt Blanc by the Grand Mulets Route, but never done "ski extreme"! Warm Winter Wishes - Denise
Magnifique !
@Sanchoplayer Marco was very famous in chamonix. There is a movie about him (french/english) call "Marco, étoile filante". The number of rappel depends of the quantity of snow, but the last rappel on my video is obligatory, it's 30 meters and after that you've got a very norrow place to ski, no way to jump it even for marco. This run was he's favorite, he use to do it a lot.
You are not stupid. Its really reverse mountaineering. A project. It is not for everyone for sure, but if you like this sort of thing Chamonix is a great place to be.
Anywhere else in the world, and the ski patrol would be screaming at you to get off the hill. They hate backcountry skiers. But in Chamoix, it's commonplace. What this guy is doing can be considered as rock climbing in reverse. he's going down rather than up. And although it may look slow, the movements are deliberate and safe. It's the mind that is traveling at warp speed...trust me...you gotta have it all in one sock for a ride like this.
i don't think it looks fun cause wayyy too much exposure. if i was to hike a line i'd rather get a nice spine with some deep pow or give me a filled-in couloir so i can bomb it quick.
This is amazing, not only to ski it, but to video the whole thing! Great job, thanks!
utterly amazing line, very majestic views, admire the skill and self control it takes to ski/climb mountains like this.

Definition of NO FALL ZONE
@schmoonzx Not all rideable. Even when there is more snow in the Mallory you need to rappel a bit.

To me that did not look enjoyable....
