anyone that played this game. knows this is one of the best games ever created in that platform...super fun its was huge with all the arenas and sighns and lots of wrestlers with diferent styles and it was just the kick ass game everyone had..
This is the best wrestling game I have ever played. There is a lot of variety in the game play with over 60 wrestlers and a bunch of different arenas there is no end to the possibilities. Also the three different levels differ greatly. On easy your opponent just follows you around only doing the occasional move, while on hard it is near impossible. Your opponent is always throwing devastating maneuvers your way and reversing your moves.
I don't know of one but I remember that you could throw someone into the turnbuckle and hold a then flick the analog stick to perform a finisher. Scott hall had a top rope razors edge, Nash had a jackknife and buff had one too. Ddp could do an alternate diamond cutter by holding a after the Irish whip when they rebound
Great video but you missed the unlockables: Roddy Piper, Curt Henning, Kanyon/Mortis, Meng, Barbarian and the crusierweight unlockable that I think you had in Chavo... Corner finishers did exist and rebound finishers (cross face, diamond cutter 3 etc).
I never understood how Hulk/Hollywood Hogan special move caused enough damage for a pinfall. And if i remember correctly his rear facing special was a back scratch. Never understood that either.
Haha. Growing up, my friends and I would play this game all the time. We would take the characters' names and costumes and customize them and fuck them up real bad, so that every time we had a royal rumble a new player would come out and their wrestler name would say something like "fuckface" or "cum eater". LOL! Good times.
@@thestardustgamer296 I wish there was a list. There has to be all kinds of moves not widely known. There are off the rope finishers was well with the energy meter full. off the rope diamond cutter I think is one from diamond dallas page, then there is a full meter off the ropes (like running I mean/toss the opponent off the ropes) from Chris benoit as well. I need to get the mod for this at some point on the PC and see all the characters added.
@@thestardustgamer296 maybe a better question I recall A+B with full spirit meter allows you to use opponents special move for the strong grapples, is this the case of the "off the ropes" and "on the turnbuckle" specials?
This game was the very best ever and the first to kick it off for the n64 in that style of wrestling gaming for sure i use to look for my friend day and night he was my Nahbor just so i can go over and play specific game those were the good ol days
ffreplica515 I have a real soft spot for World Tour, though. The nostalgia, for me, makes it the favorite game, but no doubt that Revenge is superior in every way. I think WM2000 is the weakest of the four US AKI games
Scott Hall ever hit the Razors Edge on The Giant in real life? I can't remember if he did, which means he probably didnt. Pretty sure I'd remember that shit. Though I wasnt often sober back then

This game set the standard for wrestling games.
Yes it did had a summer job I bought me a 64 and this game deff a classic wwe2k still uses this format of playing
Hogans finisher pissed me off so much!
Yeah one of the dumbest “finishers” ever
Yeah, we hate that finisher cause it doesn't knock the opponent down! It's called The Old Man Flop and it's so shit!
@@MartinRoebuck925 that and it is in his finishing move his finishing move was always the leg drop.
DDP was awesome in this, I nearly pooed a little when I found out how many ways you could hit the diamond cutter in this game
Turnbuckle was the best
i played this game so much. i remember saving $ and getting it for christmas.
the controls made so much sense. the gameplay was so tight
the whole flock just does Tiger bombs lol
Not all of them Sick boy does the slapjack reece does the two handed chokeslam & the hidden character Kidman does the powerbomb to X factor
I'm reliving my childhood with my cousins and friends playing the all day.

and Jim Neidhart with a mandible claw!
Forgot how cool this game was
I'm getting an N64 usb controller so I can play these games on the PC. I miss these games. These new wrestling games suck ass.
I hated hogans finishers, it was just flairs from world tour

this was so awesome back in the day
It still is
two of the best wrestling games ever. WCW/NWO Revenge and Wrestlemania 2000
Jericho man of “1004” holds on the trunks 😁
Good times for sure with this game!

He was doing the non hidden characters and the one your talking about in the cruiserweight title scene was Billy Kidman
This whas one of my favorite ones, especially ultimate dragon
Hogan's special is a Ric Flair signature move...
Wiggling joystick to do,a finisher lol old skool
Oh, and the Evenflow DDT was my fave. You could hit it like three, four times before the finisher meter ran out.
when I first got this it took me forever to know how to do a finisher lol
Lot of great childhood memories with cousins brothers n nephews playing this and no mercy...lotta thrown n broken controllers too
This game was awesome and still is,I wish i still had my N64
LOL Hayabusa Defeating Hogan at the END....MARK OUT MOMENT!
That's not hayabusa its Hon Zo Mon. One of the best characters in the game.
han zo moon is based on jappanesse wrestler hayabusa, but since wcw or thq did not had the rights to use him, they did this hon zo moon character...
This game has an awesome set of finishers.
looool Nash looks like Fake Diesel here xD
I frigging loved this game

You actually did it near their head while they on the ground he would do the leg drop as a special submission
@@tsetsefly3605 gonna need video evidence of this

What is the porpuse of the hoga's finisher?
And i love, how they did the replay
God what a blast from my past. Holy shit. My brother and i played this game incessantly.
I never understood why Hulk Hogan didn’t do the leg drop as finishing move in this game that’s literally his finishing move.
La parka the chairman
Is that Eric Bischoff's strong attack (hold B)?
2:55 best one I ever seen and I wish the looked at this game and learned from it also what if this game had caw ?
You should make a new one with ALL the finishers like Nash, Hall, and Buffs corner finishers and DDPs alternate diamond cutter
Ahhh I effing loved this game.
no wayyyyyyyyyyy an off the top rope razor cutter???!!!! I need to see this!
They also have a top rope Jackknife powerbomb

what did you guys think was better? this game or wcw vs nwo world tour? and why do you think that?

Damn I miss this game!!
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHH BROTHER N.W.O

Why did you show Goldberg's spear but not Buff Bagwell's real finishing move?
Yeah one of the reasons I always used Scott Hall
Reminds me of wrestle mania 2000 and no mercy
Still my favorite game.
Only thing this game was missing was the 4 Horsemen
