It looks beautiful how the flock migrates together : around this root. However, you can totally see the difference in having a large aquarium, totally different behavior of fish.
You too should go talk to someone at the Zoo and see if they would be willing to let you scape a realy big tank for them? This is the best tank so far can't wait to see what's next.
Im so glad you guys put MANY MANY smaller fish into this huge tank, instead of like five huge fish. Seeing huge schools of small fish is so awesome, at a certain number they kind of act as one large organism. Customers being able to see that hopefully nudges them away from getting two or three of every fish, and just pick one or two species and buy a school of them. The fish just act SO differently when they are in schools this big.
Shout out to the bloke walking through frame at 11:42. A few seconds earlier and he'd have ruined the whole thing 🤣. Good luck re-catching them all to do take 2!
In my mind, this is the best thing you could’ve done with a tank this size. Love a huge school of nano/medium sized fish in a planted tank! Big ups guys! Well done 👍🏼

Green Phantoms are my favorite plecos. I really hope you do a special tank for a few of them. They're so beautiful. As is the entire tank in this video. Absolutely phenomenal.
Cool video! Regarding the pleco tank, get some nice hypancistrus! There are many different species and hypancistrus do well in groups, do not grow very large and are easy to breed! Get them "pleco caves" (long ceramic tubes with holes in just one end) and you will get babies! I started with 3 juvenile hypancistrus contradens and now a few years later I got 70 large adults and constant breeding! You can keep plants with plecos, just not large-leaved species like swordplants (valisneria, rotala, ludwigia, limnophilia etc I keep successfully with mine!).

An epic start to the stocking! That looked insane when they all went in and started doing laps like that. I really like those catfish too, I have two small twig whiptails and they're definitely a conversation piece. Can't wait to see what'll come next!

I am so envious of having a tank that big to Aquascape, decide what fish to put in, plants etc, I have 2 x 5 foot tanks in my bedroom but off the bedroom is a sleepout that I used as a darkroom and my leatherwork room, 🤔 I could knock the wall out..... Lol, when you have a small house and a big love of animals and fish, it can be extremely frustrating, Thankyou for letting us poor people live vicariously through your eyes! @@darylcavanagh3977 lol I live on my own my bedroom is 20ft x 14'6" wide to my right I have 1 x 5 foot tank of 310 litres then at the bottom end of the room in front of a large window I have the second 5 foot tank of 560 litres, also in the room I have a huge handmade bed I made (Queen sized), a 55 inch TV, and a rather large computer and 36 in Curved screen monitor (monitor is to my left side of the bed on a flexible stand). The joys of being single, but an extra bonus is the tropical fish help a lot with my panic and anxiety, it's a simular effect to watching a fire burning, I've only been into the fish for 8 months now, at nearly 65 why didn't I get into fish seriously, earlier (had a tank of gold fish as a kid, and a 4 foot tank of them about 15 years ago till the tank leaked. Maybe I wasn't ready yet?
17:00 I heard that only mixes, which smell like sewage, contain beneficial bacteria from both high and low oxygen environments. The latter is important with deep substrate fish tanks or water treatment. :)

This is a very very rare kind of tank. It's a tank designed (finally!) for the amount of food those auto-feeders think the "normal" fish tank needs 😉 Perfect!
Looking really good and love the shimmer effect in the water. Give the planting a few months it will look even better. Adding the fish was cool. Groups of Rams, Apistogramas and a large group or Rummynose and Cardinals would look stunning. Oh a large group of Columbian Tetras would finish it. 😁

I was at Vivarium this weekend and came across a very nice biotope aquarium with wild caught cardinal tetras from Brazil. It was the booth of a well known importer in The Netherlands and there was a representative of Project Piaba. Next project should be a big box with a couple of thousand cardinal tetras, maybe collab with Project Piaba? Their work is important supporting the livelihoods of people in the Rio Negro region and protecting the rain forest.
That shot of the fish going in was amazing! I'm curious... How do you decide how many fish can go in a tank that sizet? I'd imagine it's not the (US) standard of one inch of fish per gallon, right?

When the Black Widows circled around and under the stump it was insanely cool. One of the coolest Aquarium fish moments on the chanel ever.
