@@jackhammertwo1 yea i played it since it released on PS4 and for a looong while there were no significant improvements/updates made for the game (we got Marseille but that was it mostly). It was just grinding the same content over and over... But recently I started playing Aftermath on PC and yes, this brought some big updates. And just now we got horde mode XL. So i guess I'm wrong about the devs after all, my bad.

I had this game a while back and had sold it on. Since the new content updates, XL mode and improved PS5 quality, I bought it again and yes indeed it really is something special in the zombie invasion game world.
I can't believe how much this game is so UNDERRATED. Like, there's almost no one playing it live on RUclips or any other platforms...

Redownloaded this game to give it a try again after about a year and literally no one was playing the game, couldn’t find a single lobby, so I was stuck playing with bots for about 15 minutes till I was too damn bored to keep going. Game would be fun if it had any players

Honestly I love this game, probably my most played zombie game right now, nothing really compares to the defense based gameplay.

i havent played aftermath yet but i spent a good bit of time playing the first game and thought it was super fun.
This would be hectic with the whole F.A.S.T squad but also so entertaining.

The game has been updated in first person, but the scope is only for display, only the scope for the zoom camera is only, That's all the drawbacks of the scope of the World of Zombies game weapons
Nothing says zombie mechanics more than giving a billion zombies parkour abilities
This game and back4blood are the best zombie games out now, a lot of fun when playing with 4 players

As far as the title goes, I would say that :
WWZ the book, The Walking Dead and maybe DayZ have realistic zombies.
But WWZ the movie and the game (like Dying Light or Days Gone) have pseudo-realistic arcade zombies, which is not a shame, just different and obviously more fun from a video game perspective.
And then there are fantasy zombies (supernatural, mechanical, magical, reconstructed ...) like in Resident Evil.
But then again, so do most of us in the morning. And I guess the title is for : realistic and smooth animations which is true.

@@lum1notryc828 Quite like the game, I would say the Horror subgenre in Fantasy style. They are too far removed from normal humans and their appearance is overly scary. Plus they are not technically zombies :)

I see them tied to a set of rules from the original concept, either from Voodoo or Romero's movies. The author of the book WWZ have some pretty interesting opinion on the matter. They are creature of angst more than fear. They are mainly there to reveal human weaknesses.
So zombies with superhuman abilities (speed, agility, ...) are a departure from the concept, created to instill fear. And therefore not realistic for me.
But it is only an opinion and it is just a fun video with Tomo and friends so I shouldn't debate that much :)
@@Solothanat I mean technically tlou zombies are the most realistic out there considering the fungus controlling their corpses (btw making them by definition: zombies) is real and controls ants, literally making bug zombies lol

Oh you discovered one of the best zombie shooters ever. Iv gone along way in this game and met excellent players. Even with alot of experience this one can be extremely hard.

This game could have been good if they let people mod the game and have it's own workshops in steam
The tech behind this is insane!
They have the zombies work in grids or groupings. If you slow it down and watch the gameplay, zombies die that never get shot because they share the health pool amongst a group of zombies.
@@vladdracul2379 it could be because tomo was using explosives ammo (the yellow ammo count), combined with +1 penetration from the Fixer class that's why a couple of them died with just one shot from the explosive ammo

That is just more damage to different "groups." The group will drop as a whole if you only hurt one member of it.
Title says realistic zombies, and within the first few seconds, it shows an ogre of a zombie with body armor choke slamming a man. Lmfao

YES! It's a shame it didn't catch on or get supported for too long after the initial release of the game but I put some serious time into the multiplayer when it first released!

@@GrimViridian it died off for a reason look on RUclips everyone hates the game the lore is better then the gameplay. Left for dead was a million times better. Back for blood was the easiest game I've ever played. The card system was ass.
