@@fulstaak I mean, its being published by 505 Games, and has some MASSIVELY famous actors like Chuck Norris doing voice work for the game, along with over 2 million views on its announcement trailer. Thats not at all what I would call obscure lol.
at first, when they revealed it.. i really thought it would be much much better, but they made it in a way that it feels stupidly fun, if that makes sense 😅

for such an unrealistic game with so much UI, I'm surprised they don't even have a crosshair
Tbf that’s probably because Payday doesn’t use crosshair either. It incentivizes you to work on your ability to tell where you’re aiming without the need for one, while also giving more meaning to the typically pointless aesthetics on laser sights and flashlights. I think it’s better than having a crosshair, personally
It also makes accuracy a lot more important when they game doesn’t exactly show you where the bullets will land. Weapons can be pretty inaccurate in PD2 so properly building a weapon is important past whatever is meta.
A name like ‘Rockay City’ seems like something a person from a rural village in Eastern Europe would imagine for an American city

This game is better than expected and the greatly commented video makes it even better. B quality games always have this old-school vibe like you're playing a game for fun, not some simulation for being serious.

The game literally was developed by a few older payday devs and published by 505 games (the same publisher of payday 1 and 2)
This actually looks pretty fun, graphics aren’t bad either. I remember seeing the cover with Chuck Norris and Michael Madsen but forgot what game it was, until now!
