A couple of things that would help sell more to custom baling operations would be to add onboard scales. And offer a quarter turn bale chute like Vermeer has. We custom stack 25-30,000 cornstalk bales a year and stacking behind the Vermeer balers with that turn chute really speeds things up and much easier on stacking equipment to not have to go cross rows

Making a Baler more complicated than it has to be we’ve own Vermeer, New Holland and John Deere and nothing compares to the John Deere we put up 3500 bales a year

Why don't you baler manufactures do something to stop straw dust and other detritus from building up around the chains and working parts?
After all it only needs a well fitting guard, it's not rocket science! If you put as much effort into this as you do for a purely cosmetic matching side covers with your name on them it would make things cleaner and longer lasting!
