Dude was insanely hard to get out and got 150+ scores like every few innings like it was nothin. No other batter has had an average even close to that in an 80 innings streak. The second best is Ponting with about 75 average in 52 tests

    Practically every video has comments about him being a 'chucker'.
    FFS - he was proved to have a legitimate delivery.
    If he was from England, Australia or any of the other Test playing countries...would still complain about his action? Of course not.
    Get a life.

    • @JunaidKhan-df2qx

      He doesn't chuck he's just got brilliant wrists where he can flick the ball miles!!! Truly brilliant bowler! respect from Mars!

    • @sergeantpickles4202
      @sergeantpickles4202 7 лет назад +9

      Keep Funk Baby if he was English or Australian he wouldn't have played test match cricket. Coaches would've assumed he chucked and he wouldn't have been allowed to play schoolboy cricket. To be clear I DONT THINK HE CHUCKED but i doubt he could of played test cricket anywhere but in the subcontinent because it looked like he did. That's why Sri Lankan cricket is so interesting though, they do things differently (like lasith malinga who would have had his action 'corrected' by coaches over here)

    I loved this era of cricket. Test cricket is was my favorite form of cricket. I didn't follow odi much, but i wouldnever miss a test match of India. This game is still in my memory. Even though im an Indian fan, I wanted Murli to get this record. Watching this today gives me goosebumps.

    Got those 8 wickets in the first test itself!
    Absolutely remarkable.!

    People don't appreciate Muralidharan enough. He came through a very small nation without the infrastructure of the first world countries and India to become the greatest bowler the world has ever seen. He dealt with all obstacles that were thrown towards him with dignity and conquered everything there is to conquer in cricket. IMO people don't speak about him in the same way as the other greats of the game because- 1) He's not a fast bowler which is considered more glamourous 2) He is Asian and more specifically Sri Lankan which doesn't have the clout of India 3) He's not a batsman
