So excited for this video and please never stop talking about Claire Kent. The Hold and Kindled series has such a chokehold on me. I wish there were more survival series in this cozy style. I just finished Guardian by Emmy Chandler and was so thrilled it was similar. Now I'm onto Wild by Adrienne Wilder and loving it so much. Feeling so lucky for such great recs by you 💓

When I discovered Last Light about a year ago or so, I knew I had found an absolute treasure in Claire Kent. Love your cannel, and I believe you are the first I have seen talk about her Kindled series, which of course I adore! Keep up the excellent work. :)

The Host was my OG scifi/dystopian fave and it still holds up every time I read it! So glad you mentioned it as it's severely underrated! Also just realised that so many of my favs are dystopian - manacled, land of the beautiful dead, and the host!
I love them so much. I've read The Host almost as much as Twilight. No joke.

I believe 'romantasy'- romantic fantasy is trending nowadays in the book sphere, so maybe a video with those kinds of recs is going to be good for this channel, get more people introduced to you. I remember not liking Pestilence because i couldn't believe the heroine would be with someone who causes so much hurt and death... I think i was new to romance as a genre and didn't get the memo about suspension of disbelief

Yeah! It definitely is! But I kinda consider it SO dystopian that it's back around to Fantasy. Hahaha!!! But fits dystopian by definition.
