Really enjoyed it. Amish's answers sounded therapeutic filled with knowledge. With just one video, I have come to respect our ancient culture very much. It's just a magnanimous pleasure to listen to Amish and just gasp at his never ending well of knowledge and philosophies.
@1:13:21 Very happy to see Dr. S. Y. Quraishi, and a great question from him. I think the model from my home states of Andhra & Telangana is a good one. We use our native village's name, and our given name. For example, Yechuri Sitaram - with Yechuru being the Sitaram's ancestral village. I hope that my people will drop their caste names like Reddy, Naidu, etc.
Paying my sincere regards to you sir. Me my friends, office colleagues nd my family all are huge fan of you. Lots of love and respect from Allahabad nd Bulandshahr !!
I think it's high time to point out few things. 1. India has many languages which are verbal(unwritten). While compilation of many epics and scriptures the words were used as is. Problems come when the translations don't understand them. And surprisingly we use similar words till date. No offense to anyone. This knowledge has been granted to be my great sages and traditional museums. And is especially for people who find the epics as mere mythology and no logic. Eg. 1. Naak katna means blow to the pride(for surkhnaka) 2. Naak uthakar chalna(walking with pride) 3. Pura parvat le aana by Hanuman...it was actually saare plants le aana( even today many indian mother's still use it differently.. eg. If the daughter shops for 10 clothes together they say "Pura market le aayi'. When guys take out a lot of snacks from kitchen to their room... Mom's are like pura kitchen le aaya. 4. When we call anyone on phone multiple times... We say... Dus Baar call Kiya terko(same 10 is used in most other Indian languages as well)whenever there is multiplicity we say Ten times. So Raavan was killed multiple times. And I say killed. The expression of sir katna is killing..even today when we communicate to someone it's by showing the slicing on neck. It's that after multiple times he was killed his pride and ego got huge enough for him to expose his weakness(probably navel in which he had Elixir... And a shot at navel killed him finally. Navel has great significance in Indian medicine) 5. Gangaji Ko Jeb mein rakh diya Asur ne [when a person says koi cheez/Insaan mere Jeb mein hai that means he has taken control over it and one will need his permission to access the stuff.] Like we can say woh neta toh business tycoon k Jeb mein hai... Yeh mine toh tycoon Jeb mein hai. Or girls say yeh ladka mere Jeb mein hai(similar to wrapping guys around their fingers) 6. People who can supposedly fly ( common expressions like woh bhaagta nahi hai..udta hai... Our own flying sikh Milkha Singh. Or even we say.. car ya bike bhaagta nahi udaata hai) 7. Because shiva resided in Kailash, we named shiva himself as Kailash...and now both are used vice versa. that is why we say Ganga shiv k jatao se aati hai. (Gangotri glacier is on Himalaya) 8. When kings used to loose sight due to any reason.... A person used to be assigned to them so that they help them with daily chores. Also because of visual handicap it was preferred that the guy assigned was really good in describing things as well, to bring up Colors and emotions in one's head and heart... To make it as real. Heard about Mahabharat being described to dhritrashtra? And that the people who were involved in sending messages to him were so efficient that as compared to normal time delay which people would experience in those days, this delay was nothing.... and hence it was described as good as Live. 9. Proper shivlings made during old days have a certain magnetic property to it. And our elders taught us to sit near it and it definitely felt good. And now we have something known as magnetic therapy coming up in West. Logic is same for both, we mastered it way back then and used it for our wellbeing. And people get convinced easily by the name of God but the effects are very real. 10. Himalaya pe,Ganga k baaju pe chalne se Rog nikalte hai and Ganga mein duubki lagane se paap dhulte hai. Well those areas of Himalayas are full of medicinal plants and hence the aroma and essence of them help you to heal. Also the medicinal properties get mixed in water as well and so your body gets free of skin problems ailments etc. There are many many more examples. I was told that central point of any epic was to showcase and preach that Dharm(moral duty),Karm etc are the ways to approach life. They are more logical and scientific than people think it is. There are people who worship God's Because of the strength which is portrayed. There are people who use their intellect much more and want to dissect the truth. The truth is that Hinduism is actually a way of life rather than religion. This is a step towards explaining that....
pata nahi but why these intellectual doesn't do anything to Sanskrit and its standardization, they have a huge impact on society if they try it will go to huge people and they will thing, a debate which will be good for our country, they only criticise our ancient things and do nothing for it.
A great dramatist SManohar even made a very popular drama Lankeshwaran in which Ravena is the hero portraying his complex qualities. Thus approach is not new. Even poet Kamban in his Tamil Ramayana does not show Ravena in bad light. - Kollengode S Ramayanam

1:27:34 that professor is finally seated to the chair shown by Amish 😁😉

What a great source of knowledge 👌
Inspiring to upcoming writers
The “professor” at 1:23:35 seems to have gone really burnt 🥵 at 1:25:15 😆😆😆 burnol moment
we must work to revive Sanskrit and try to make it nation language.
Making it a national language is a bit extreme....but sure we need to make it a bit mainstream
Ha. Let's first keep our current languages intact rather than mixing in English every other word.
am fan of amish
There is suggestion for you that ,please sir write a book on Mahabharata and special book on Karna ...
He once said that after ramayana hes gonna do a whole thing on krishna nd mahabharata
5:53 Her expression is akin to that of a condescending viva teacher.
They all looked bored.
Sir hindi me kb aaegi???
1:36:44 another burnol moment 😁
They didn't arrange chairs properly. Side chairs should be pulled forward so that he just need to move head while addressing the anchors.
Agree amish sir
its time to rewrite our history...remove the RED from our syllabus.. many indic historians and archaeologists can help the government

1:36:46 stupidity shines at its’ best when it is arrogant
Audio is very low
Amish , how do I join your writing club ?
when the launch is in delhi??
I love his answer on caste system....
Both the interviewers looked very bored. Please sit down with a scholar and academician in one of your talks.
Ameesh bhai U really left Ur Surname? Why?
Because he does not like the caste system nd his surname made him a brahmin
@@ridhiagarwal8524 bcoz surnames were not birithbased in hindusim but on the basis of knowledge
The lady in the red is trying hard to appear an intellectual, but her discomfort is visible every moment.
