Great stuff John! I'm using a resistance release and you're spot on regarding timing for better accuracy. I'm working on the timing piece as we speak. My question is, I'm considering hunting with the resistance release. Your thoughts on whether I should consider that or not? Or, is the resistance release better utilized for training only. Like your videos, keep up the great work !
What about a shooter with glasses. I use contacts BUT trying to use my glasses. When I use my glasses I hold my head straight and I can’t see through my peep. I actually look and I see the middle of my bow. My sight I way to the right. Why would that be happening? I do wear bifocals and progressive lenses. Would that cause all my trouble?
I wear glasses and my big issue is they fog up after I start heating up. But I don’t have that issue you are talking about. Maybe your peep needs some adjustment?!?!? Not really sure thought.
Make adjustment in the head position,i used to have the same problem(glasses user) but after imitating mike schloesser head position somewhat, i fixed the problem
I also wear glasses and had huge problems trying to shoot with progressives. Very sleight differences in head angle would completely change my sight picture as I would be looking through a different part of the lens which could distort things. Switching to shooting with single vision glasses fixed that. Fortunately I can read fine without glasses so at events I can still read score cards without having to carry reading glasses. One of the guys at my club shoots with bifocals however he got a custom pair made with a much smaller near vision zone to maximise his long distance sight picture but still allow him to read. I also iterate the comment above about fogging up. That can be a real PITA. I use an anti-fog glasses cleaner which works pretty well. There a gel version which is great to put on the lenses at the start of the day but I also carry a wipes version on me if I need to quickly re-apply an anti-fog coating during an event.
Everyone teaches how to shoot, but no one teaches how to shoot into the wind, for example.Korean archers shoot in the wind even better than without wind. I watched an archery competition recently and a commentator said about an American archer that he hired a Korean coach and he teaches him completely different things. It seems to me for some reason that the first thing he said was to forget about pull through forever.
This guy is incredible, but, lets say he had an errant arrow, does that negate the value of his knowledge? Maybe he isnt the best in the world but he trains with the same processes and methodology, would we not benefit from learning what and how hes training because he isnt the current World Champ?

Do you think the adrenaline dump of having a big buck in range could disrupt the process of utilizing your resistance release?
Can you group with that bow?? Haven't seen you yet!!😮
Pretty sure he can group with any bow…
@@gingersnapmedia1794 don't know about that?? Haven't seen it 😁
