The game definitely does not explain anything except once. And usually when you can’t fully understand how the systems mash together. But overall I enjoy this game quite a bit, but I also went in with no expectations at all.

There are so many skins you get for free, it’s hard to complain. Between the missions and blueprint drops, I really haven’t felt the need to buy any. I’ve got over 8,500 units and I’m just waiting for something good to drop.

Fyi you don’t need to select chimera mission to head back to the outposts. Hover over helicarrier for chimera and select travel to outpost and hover over utah to select ant hill. This doesn’t matter during the reassemble campaign but when you’re done with it that’s how you can go to the outposts.

I’m loving the game! I just completed the campaign and really enjoyed the story. I’m enjoying playing missions with my friends and it’s generally a really good time. That being said, I hope they fix some quality of life stuff and boy, it can be buggy sometimes but it was mostly just stuff to chuckle at and reload a checkpoint - nothing horrendous. I hope they do something with the drop rates though. Even as a Destiny 1 veteran these drops seem bad.
Just beat the game i loved the storry havent touch multiplayer just wanted to play story but it was great i loved the ending also that boss fight though its was great would recommend this game if you like story games it was perfect

Something else important the game doesnt tell you is that XP isn't affected by difficulty. So if you wanna level up fast, you just gotta complete a lot of missions and again I think the Harm missions are the best for that, however if you want better GEAR playing higher difficulty missions will be effective to drop get some good stuff.

I'm having a ridiculously good time with this, my only real complaint is that matchmaking suuuucks... but i reckon that'll probably improve over the next week as more people jump onboard, get their SE account hooked up and whatnot.
Instead if finding skills that restore health, find skills that deal high stun damage. Stunned enemies can have a takedown performed on them. Takedowns restore health. Having huge aoe attacks that deal high stun damage can let you get back a decent amount of health. Edit: I haven't really had any issues with the ai. I can only think of two instances where they didn't try and revive me. They also tend not to be downed a lot and for the most part and they usually get revived by another ai. It's much smarter than the beta. Woof that beta ai.

I love how people are complaining about the game for what it is now. When they should all know that games like these (destiny, division, etc) often times start out “unfavorable” and as time goes on, the players give their critiques and the devs change and update things, the games eventually get better. Like...this is nothing new yet folks still go out of their way to hangout in the comments and bitch. Especially those that don’t even play or own the game. I’m sure this game will grow and get better as time goes on, especially when the devs can come together and are no longer working from home.

I paid full price after I played the Beta in my XBOX1. The Beta gets one wanting more if it. After playing the real game, like any other Beat'n up and RPG is gets pretty reptitive. But there are still lots to do and things to collect like every other superhero game.

Theres like 22 costumes for each character u can earn without spending any money. Obv the challenge card cant be completed in a day. Takes like 4 weeks. It’s a live service game, the point of this game’s existence is to keep the game on live support by making the players pay money constantly, sure they will add new missions some new characters and generally they will add alot of content but do u know what they’ll add more of, skins a fuck ton of skins and skin packs and all these cosmetic items, just you wait until this game gets older it will be 30% game content and 70% skins and shit like that.

I can say that destiny's battlepass (destiny being the most regonizable gaas game to date) does not give me a way to earn silver (the currency used for cosmetics). The fact that they give you the oppourtuniy to earn the preminum currency in game is a huge difference. Along with the fact that you have other ways of getting or earning cosmetics.
Yea i dont mind the monetization as long as you can earn the currency in game. Thats what kept me off of Apex. I cant think of any other games besides destiny and apex where you cant earn the currency.
Yup, what's more 'impressive' is that the total amount you get per card is more than enough to buy the future cards to go alongside the free heroes. Sure it's a bit time consuming... It's going to be interesting playing along as new content drops.
Shane Firth yep each character pass contains 1000 credits which is the exact price for the dlc character passes and u have 6 passes to start with so you will literally never need to by the character passes with real money
And can't really complain about free content. People could be paying 20$ or more for dlc. A new season pass with X amount of characters and story everytime. Or expansion pass

you dont have to go to the chimera mission to get back to base. all you have to do is hover over the helicarrier mission branch and hold square/x to port back to base. Same with the Ant Hill, hold square/x over utah mission chain.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention gearing out all characters not just 1 if you’re a solo player. Companions have access to all skills/gear/gear perks that you put on your character. Took me a while to realize that
Keep in mind that you can customize the heroes to help you as a support. I've heard advice like don't make all of your characters strong but keep in mind it's a balance. You can have one ultra powerful character but the others has be to be playing in the same field as your ultra powerful character. They don't have to be on the same level as that character. Just in the same numbers range as your strongest character. So as to last longer and to provide better support.
Minor correction to the costume portion of the video. None of the costumes available in the store(at least not in the past week) are visable on the costumes page, that page shows all costumes you can earn in game via the in game currency or the challenges or on rare occasion as a drop.
Guys, do you remember the days where everybody lost their minds because of the 3$ horse armor DLC? Guess what, it's happening for years now on a much larger scale.
Don't forget that the game also doesn't tell you that there's a random chance that you'll lose costumes you've already unlocked. I've lost four, all of which are given to me i the campaign, three of which are from the last two-three missions. My only way to get them back is to restart the game or wait for a patch. It's been happening to many people worldwide.

This game was playable to everyone on the 4th of September. Today is the 8th. We get it. There's some bugs etc. The game has a ton of updates and new stuff coming. In the mean time, get your characters leveled up. I'm sure they will fix the issue soon.
Most of these points seem pretty standard to most games of this sort. GRIND, UPGRADE APPROPRIATELY AND COMPLETE DAILY MISSIONS. Nothing seems unique about the game and it really puts me off.

Don't forget to parry attacks when you're overwhelmed. Parrying with right trigger knocks all close enemies back.

I love how people are complaining about the game for what it is now. When they should all know that games like these (destiny, division, etc) often times start out “unfavorable” and as time goes on, the players give their critiques and the devs change and update things, the games eventually get better. Like...this is nothing new yet folks still go out of their way to hangout in the comments and bitch. Especially those that don’t even play or own the game.
I’m sure this game will grow and get better as time goes on, especially when the devs can come together and are no longer working from home.
Listen buddy, they've charged u full price for a half ass game which u already agreed to. As far as ive played, campaign's too short and its gameplay is repetitive and buggy af. Dont justify crap that may or may not get better. U have to admit that the game doesnt even come near the hype or what it couldve been. In one word, its a disappointment.

I’m thoroughly enjoying this game, and I’m hoping enough people give it a try and some time to evolve into something even better. Yeah I have my gripes but most people do about most games so I feel it’s moot. Also, play with matchmaking on. Do stuff with people. I’ve had much more fun that way.
They need to get creative with missions ngl they boring asf. The iconic ones arent that bad. The grind for exotic artifact book n ring are so boring. Atleast playing the charcters is the onlything keeping me on it

I paid full price after I played the Beta in my XBOX1. The Beta gets one wanting more if it. After playing the real game, like any other Beat'n up and RPG is gets pretty reptitive. But there are still lots to do and things to collect like every other superhero game.

I was sceptical about this game but I have played around 5 hours and I really think it's better than people are saying the story is really good and the combat is fun who cares if they sell skins the dlc is free i think with updates it will be even better

Theres like 22 costumes for each character u can earn without spending any money. Obv the challenge card cant be completed in a day. Takes like 4 weeks. Theres literally 2 outfits in the store u can buy with real money for each character. 2 out of 24. Idk why ppl keep spreading misinformation about this. This game has way bigger problems than some stupid skins

It’s a live service game, the point of this game’s existence is to keep the game on live support by making the players pay money constantly, sure they will add new missions some new characters and generally they will add alot of content but do u know what they’ll add more of, skins a fuck ton of skins and skin packs and all these cosmetic items, just you wait until this game gets older it will be 30% game content and 70% skins and shit like that.

I can say that destiny's battlepass (destiny being the most regonizable gaas game to date) does not give me a way to earn silver (the currency used for cosmetics). The fact that they give you the oppourtuniy to earn the preminum currency in game is a huge difference. Along with the fact that you have other ways of getting or earning cosmetics.
Yea i dont mind the monetization as long as you can earn the currency in game. Thats what kept me off of Apex. I cant think of any other games besides destiny and apex where you cant earn the currency.
Yup, what's more 'impressive' is that the total amount you get per card is more than enough to buy the future cards to go alongside the free heroes. Sure it's a bit time consuming... It's going to be interesting playing along as new content drops.
Shane Firth yep each character pass contains 1000 credits which is the exact price for the dlc character passes and u have 6 passes to start with so you will literally never need to by the character passes with real money

you dont have to go to the chimera mission to get back to base. all you have to do is hover over the helicarrier mission branch and hold square/x to port back to base. Same with the Ant Hill, hold square/x over utah mission chain.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention gearing out all characters not just 1 if you’re a solo player. Companions have access to all skills/gear/gear perks that you put on your character. Took me a while to realize that

Keep in mind that you can customize the heroes to help you as a support. I've heard advice like don't make all of your characters strong but keep in mind it's a balance. You can have one ultra powerful character but the others has be to be playing in the same field as your ultra powerful character. They don't have to be on the same level as that character. Just in the same numbers range as your strongest character. So as to last longer and to provide better support.

Minor correction to the costume portion of the video. None of the costumes available in the store(at least not in the past week) are visable on the costumes page, that page shows all costumes you can earn in game via the in game currency or the challenges or on rare occasion as a drop.

Don't forget that the game also doesn't tell you that there's a random chance that you'll lose costumes you've already unlocked. I've lost four, all of which are given to me i the campaign, three of which are from the last two-three missions. My only way to get them back is to restart the game or wait for a patch. It's been happening to many people worldwide.
The game is fun but when November comes around, Cyberpunk is going to be the IT game for the foreseeable future. Man I can't wait!

This game was playable to everyone on the 4th of September. Today is the 8th. We get it. There's some bugs etc. The game has a ton of updates and new stuff coming. In the mean time, get your characters leveled up. I'm sure they will fix the issue soon.
Most of these points seem pretty standard to most games of this sort. GRIND, UPGRADE APPROPRIATELY AND COMPLETE DAILY MISSIONS. Nothing seems unique about the game and it really puts me off.

I personally never understood the need that many people have to unlock EVERY costume, especially from looking at them. Many are just ugly as hell, I would just get the costume that looks the best other than that they can sit and rot in the store. I’m still waiting for the bugs to be fixed, more characters and storylines before I play.
Like all games similar I'll let the chumps throw money at micro-transactions while I enjoy the game that's designed around exploiting younger gamers, and laugh. My wallet likes this.
