Mad respect to this dude he's one of the only youtubers who actually play the game rather than just the campaign and say "combat is just generic".
It's amazing how detailed reviewers are getting and yet the opinions are hugely divisive. You'd think having all the information for the game available to someone, we'd have a lot more variety of opinions but it feels like you either are going to love this or hate this.
How is combat generic when every single character feels different? Idk how anyone can honestly argue that lol
Especially Moists review, after seeing this gameplay I’m starting to think that he and other youtubers either don’t like games like this or don’t bother to dedicate more time to get to endgame where the game really starts to shine.

Black widow actually wrecks, her hybrid melee and guns play style is fun as hell
Yeah between the beta and early access I've put in a combine 13 hours with black widow and she's so fun to play that I want a standalone Black Widow game akin to Spiderman ps4 with a fully fleshed out character

What would you say is her must have skills ?
KGoogle for me it’s all about timing. Her range is most powerful against turrets and flying enemies. But against AIM against the best thing to do is dodge perfectly then attack. And when the yellow circle Pooh’s up grapple them quick and then HEAVY attack repeatedly. It does sooo much damage.
KGoogle but upgrade her range attacks a lot so you can get rid of turrets in one hit.
Make sure you explore throughout the maps before going towards the mission you'll find alot of stuff and some hidden things as well

Ms. Marvel (TO ME MY OWN OPINION TO MY PLAY STYLE) is one of the better characters to play with. Ironman is my favorite Marvel character, but I dont like how his mechanics are in the game.
@@HarboringMotivation that's interesting. I too love iron man, but i find his playstyle fits me. Good mix of ranged turret preemptive strikes and pretty great melee especially with repulsors. Its a testament to a gamr well made where its not all cookie cutter even down to one charachter. As you dislike the style I like it.

You missed the most important tip! You can break open doors as Iron Man only if you're in the Hulkbuster. You can operate it, break the glass, and then exit the armor using L1.
I tried to both break the door and hack as cap but he can’t do either hope they fix it so everyone can just smash through by using heavy attack

They did an incredible job with the A-Day section. They really make the Avengers feel larger than life. I had the same reaction when Thor landed there as well as when you meet Cap.
The entrance Thor had when he helps Hulk and Iron on some airship was memorable 🔥

Love playing cap, but after playing Thor im torn. There is something so satisfying pinning someone with Mjolnir and then going and fighting someone else to then come back to that dude and have the whole team go on him. Not to mention later you can call lightning down on the hammer when someone is pinned

That Cap costume with the glowy blue eyes is friggin' awesome
It is awesome, I main cap and have it on. It's the STARK suit, and you get it for all hero's when you beat the campaign.

Thor's ODINFORCE is awesome because it's both offensive and defensive. I can throw the hammer to land in the general area of some enemies and press B to shock them repeatedly with ODINFORCE, while I'm away punching some other guy in his grill.

First tip for this game if u have Xbox one x or ps4 pro is, go to setting and put it in performance mode, you will have waaaaay less issues.

Really? I feel like its more stable with 4k mode because I cant stand frames jumping between 60 and 25 :D
I saw a video about this a while back, so I remembered to do it, in my experience I've really only had 1 game breaking experience so far. I have noticed a framerate drag every now and then, usually during a lot of explosions at once, but nothing that really bothered me.

Cap is my main. It was the first I reached lvl 50 with. He is super strong and very fun to play.
KhrazeGaming your cap is more of a range build right? I see you have that lock on throw with the r2 ability to send it back. I actually bought that skill and hated it cause it felt slow. I reset my whole game cause I didn’t like that skill and just beat the campaign again, this time I’m aiming for a more melee heavy cap, with the fast but strong shield throws as well
@@HerHusband. It took some time but once it clicked it felt so amazing. I suck at aiming with controller but somehow it's easy with the shield throw. You don't have to aim the initial charge and throw, only make sure you kick when it returns. That's because the kick has auto aim and tracks everything.

Im currently playing with all heroes at the same time. I know it’s not optimal, but it’s just really fun to play with all avengers. Cool vid btw!

3 how many things there are to do
4 how amazing the combat is
5 dlc and story missions to come is very exciting

This game feels like it's got that level of depth which is fine by me! Some people like generic bullshit, as long as it's delivered in a fun way.
Don't believe the negativity, the game is great! Every hero feels completely different...it's like playing a fighting game where there are completely different play styles. I haven't bought one thing in game, haven't needed to...you can earn everything.

@@ReMattch all who say it has a bad business model are truly a Slecial kind of DUMB! All the dlc that matters aka new characters, new story and new missions will be free! They charge for skins which Dont affect how your heroes play yet ppl wanna complain that itll be a "microtransaction mess" when I say you aren't forced to buy a single cosmetic they just get upset because the gear doesnt chage your look(makes sense for a superhero game imo) But dont consider that would defeat the purpose of charging for skins

@@devinrotondo3114 I think as long as the stuff you gotta pay for is a little tough to earn for free, that's a fair trade. Make it more grindy or have a tough challenge to beat. Give players a choice to face a grind wall or a pay wall.

I found being able to drop Veronica off to other characters a real useful thing, it helps lower leveled friends to battle the tougher enemies.

Not actually playing avengers yet, but I keep seeing Khraze' videos and it makes me want to, but there's so many games coming very soon, I got a prioritise.
been playing since yesterday (got it on sale at steam!) and i gotta say, there's actually a lot of nuance to the combat (if you can get around the chaos that ensues). i went into it thinking it was a button masher but it's actually not. Hulk and Cap totally own in crowd control.
I went out of town to work right after I bought this, so haven't had a chance to play yet.
I’m so close to maxing out captain America I’m like at 132 but the good thing is I have 1000 and above on all my ratings so I can cope in the harder missions. Can’t wait to max out Thor he looks fun

Do you recommend playing the campaign on normal in the beginning? I started my first playthrough on hard, to get rare or legendary items. I want to get Hulk as unstoppable as possible he should be. Your videos helped me through FF7remake and Ghost of Tsushima. Thanks!
Always play the hardest difficulty in games now. Played so many games normal Is too easy.
One of the best thing in the game is that all of the avaible heroes are competent in some way, there is no OP character. Every character is fun to play and different enough to try the others too :) (I'm a Hulk main guy :3 But I really don't know who is the second favourite to me.. Cap or Thor maybe.. It's really hard to decide.. It's a good thing )

Yeah, it's basically the difficulty it's supposed to be played on. But keep in mind that every new character you unlock will be level 1, so you're gonna struggle a little.

Max item level is actually 130, with the major artifact adding a flat +10 power increase (+20 fully boosted) allowing you to obtain 150 PL.

2 things you forgot to mention about thor his odinforce regenerates over time when its not in use and 2 his ultimate bifrost can be upgraded to heal half of his max hp your allies get healed as well at a rate of 10% per second last but not least his support heroic warrior's fury can be upgraded to give you and your allies a 25% damage buff also his god blast can be given 2 extra uses before recharging
Kamala is a beast with the combo's though i like playing with her...the people I thought i wouldn't like playing with as much as others are the ones i love playing with the most

Trying not to watch too many videos now that I’m playing through story but I’m really digging this game. Reminds me on the surface of a mobile game of avengers and anthem. Not so much the flying aspect but how the game feels. I like it. Their first game like this? Sure it’s buggy a bit but nothing to damaging of you know how game systems and software work. Been playing all my life and yeah you gotta trick the system sometimes to get it to go forward but a patch is coming.

Honestly, the best tip is to not even focus on your builds, because they don't last long at all. Equip the highest gear you have and keep grinding until you get to 150. THEN focus on your builds/specs.
btw if you use pym on iron mans items you can actually shrink some of the bosses and grab them with his heavy attack in hulk buster and throw them off roofs in some of the late game lol

Leon Smith definitely have a main and pocket main, severs are trash so when you get in a game with one person just request your best companion and have them do the same or els your gonna spent most of the time in the mission menu

Black widows needs to be retooled. It's rediculously difficult to get her shadow ops going, and when you do you're lucky if you can kill one or two enemies with it before some dumb floaty bot pings you with a shot... all the other characters ability bar MATTER a lot in how they play... while Widow's is basically just a bonus... if you're LUCKY.
Maybe they should have it deal extra damage on a curve up to the full thing as opposed to ONLY working when its full... or maybe taking damage should just take a percentage of it as opposed to the full bar... idk... but Shadow Ops as it is now is basically a complete non-factor in her gameplay
Only thing I wish I knew before I started playing was how BUG RIDDEN this game would be. I literally can’t play the last campaign mission because when I try to go into the campaign, I get an infinite loading screen. They really need to focus on this and many of the other game-breaking bugs that many are suffering from
They are listening to feedback and prioritizing accordingly,that sucks bro fps drops & film grain/motionblur is the worst i have experienced also remember it's a live service title and playing before day one, what did you expect lol

I don’t know why the added multiplayer because nobody even plays the game, or the matchmaking just doesn’t work, pretty much solo everything as it never finds anybody

The only people who are playing right now are people who got the deluxe version or up tho

No it isn't a no one playing issue. Matchmaking is known to be bust. Chances are they'll be a patch tommorow for it i reckon for the " release"

Are there issues with matchmaking?
I started playing the game on brutal and I thought if you play on the hardest level you get better gear. 🤷🏾♂️ plus I didn’t want to rush through the game and be done with the story mode in less than a week. I don’t like running through games when I pay for them at full price.

If you click R3 when youre in thr character menu it shows you a breakdown of the stats and what they do.
What about those big blue overshields. What is most effective to drop them. I am maining widow and can’t find anything to take them down effectively.
Did I just hear you say “respec”? There is no respec in this game. You change options on the Mastery page, but there’s no changing where you put a skill point after you’ve placed it somewhere.
No you get enough skill points to have everything unlocked

30fps 1080p yes, 60fps not so sure....it is a really heavy game both on CPU and GPU.

Love the game but on PS4 the game is a technical mess. I’m shocked the game got a what 5/6 month delay and has still released in this bad of a state. No I’m not a hater I LOVE marvel but this game is almost unplayable as a single player experience. From shotty camera angles, terrible lock on mechanics, absolutely retarded AI companions, enemy AI that will spawn in hoarde numbers and all singly focus on the playable hero not the ai.
I am on PS4 and I deleted the game and reinstalling now for the campaign, my game kept crashing at the end of a mission, I couldn’t proceed. It happened multiple times and I didn’t know what else to do. Hope this works.
It really is a next gen game, it should not be released on the old consoles tbh...
