  • A Central Bank Digital Currency is on the way, you will take it and you will like it, or else you can kiss your connection with society goodbye, according to E.B. Tucker. E.B. discusses why we need to live for today instead of worrying about this inevitable future, how gold and silver play a role in preserving wealth, why he thinks mining stocks aren't necessarily a good investment, and much more.

      @tiananman Месяц назад +1

      the market has been held down for decades. that doesn't mean it doesn't keep its purchasing power. it means you can buy it at a discount to the real value, which is always a good idea.

      @imaginosdesdinova Месяц назад

      @@tiananman What you said is irrelevant. What I'm talking about is how this guy was extremely bullish few years when gold was 1800$ now all his dreams fell apart when gold is 2400$ and going up. Go figure.

    • @tiananman
      @tiananman Месяц назад +1

      @@imaginosdesdinova we must be watching different videos. In this video he recommends that everyone buy at least some small amount of gold. So he's bearish on gold miners? Okay. Gold miners are typically terrible businesses to own for long and he knows more than most about the inner workings of the c-suite.
      As far as I've seen, he's been consistently bullish on the price of gold. If you think he's saying anything else in this video you're not paying attention and it seems like you're falling into the "investment as identity" trap that E.B. is talking about.
      I'm as bullish on gold as it gets and I've been averaging into gold stocks for over a decade but you have to admit the sector kind of sucks if it can't muster to lift many boats during a surge in the metal.

      He is selling something different these days (no longer part of Metalla), lol.
      That said, he does make a good point about reality.
      EB has seen/shared over the past 5 years that we would all rather be comfortable than do the tough thing in the short run (that would benefit us in the long run). Because of that, our system is just gonna keep chugging along. And because the system isn't going anywhere, we might as well learn to thrive within it.
      He still says that you need some gold for insurance, but that there will be other opportunities to thrive within the system as well.
      I'm not saying I agree with him totally, but I get it.

    Love EB but, he's absolutely, 100% clueless about Silver. He doesn't follow it. He knows nothing about it nowadays. Strange because, he's a chart guy. He can clearly see the 45 year cup and handle and knows how strong that chart pattern is given it's age... anyhow, whatever. He'll miss out on this generational opportunity. I'm making a killing on mining stocks right now. Sounds like EB has turned into a dollar shill. Bummer. Oh well. I have no idea who the CEO's or owners of every stock I trade. I use charts. Charts tell me everything I need to know. Ok, done listening to EB. He's out of touch now.

      absolutely agree there friend, not sure what kind of wild turn he took, seems to be in disacknowledgment mode big time, and yes particularly that he's mostly a chart analyst type "expert" now holds a completely reverted view on silver and pms in general, they seem to be just assets to hold that will get some kind of valuation on a constantly strong dollar and macroeconomics (mostly keep their value because they can never be in trend), however he seems to be disregarding that the trend on the dollar and macroeconomics relating to the dollar and US economy are changing in a bad direction long term.. indeed world is going upside down even with "experts"

    EB is not wrong.
    As a gold & silver stacker I've worked hard to achieve my goal (measured in ounces, not dollars). I value have this savings outside the system and sleep well at night knowing that if it all goes sideways I'll be in good shape for if/when the system rebuilds.
    But now that I have gotten there to my goal, I've told myself, "ok, now it's time to increase the money I have in the system."
    Because unless we are in Mad Max, I'll still want to participate in all the "nicer things in life." I'll need to demonstrate where I got that wealth (when everything is tracked). I don't want to be on the outside looking in when the time comes, or at the very least, looking over my shoulder.
    I think it is a good idea for all of us to decide where that balance is.

    In the end it comes down to choice. Having the choice and making choices. It's the ability to choose which is under attack. In today's age there's no reason why we should not be able to choose a life for ourselves that we want to live. You wanna be a wallstreet tycoon go for it, you want to build a log cabin and live like a Viking - sure, you want a small block and turn it into a food forest Eden - excellent, we will adjust the council building codes for you.
    what bothers me is watching the masses get corralled into smaller and smaller scopes then wondering why everyone is suddenly getting in everyone's face and stepping on each other's toes. We have the capacity to do so much but in reality we can't do anything.

When one is reasonably certain particular asset classes are approaching a bull market period, one must not hesitate. One needs to bet substantial money into carefully chosen stocks in those asset classes. Yes, it takes a lot of work to investigate. But it's not too risky, and the wind is in your sails. Uranium, gold, silver and oil. in that order. Personally, my portfolio is up 58% the past 8 months. You can't do that with 3% gold Mr. Tucker...LOL.
