Thank you for the video. My choice will be… the YC88

Difference in the organs is night and day. The YC88 has really stepped it up with the separate drawbar section. If you are piano focused, the CP is great but if you need a very versatile board with many more sounds go for the YC 88.
As far as comparing sounds the CP has more piano sounds but the YC piano sounds including the ones they added with the OS update are great and some overlap with the CP of course The YC is so much more versatile because it has about three times the sounds and more ways to edit and tweak on the Fly. Great U.I. for live performance.

What other people said--they basically sound the same, except for the organs, but the YC88 is much better for an organist because of the drawbars and other Hammond controls. Depending on what keyboard you get, the CP88 is better for a pianist. I could legitimately see getting a 66 or 73-key YC88 just for organ and an 88-key CP88 just for piano, since that is what each board is best at. And the two put together would cost about the same as a single Nord Stage.

then get the Nord and reduce the clutter

@@BryWMac The 88-key Fatar keybed on the Nord is far inferior to the Yamaha for piano and still not ideal for organ either. The smaller Nord Stages are even worse for piano. Having different actions on different instruments is a big advantage and worth a ittle extra "clutter".

Both of them are excellent and beautifully made. The only issue: the LCD. It spills about when you touch it... They should've made a thicker glass, after all, it's a stage keyboard. Something falls on the LCD, the instrument is toast. Okay, maybe it's not completely toast, because this instrument can be operated with knobs and switches alone. I believe there's even a function to turn off the LCD. So, I guess, if the LCD breaks, it's going to be just an aesthetic issue, not so much functional thing, since one still do the performance on stage with a YC or CP with broken LCD.

It shouldn't be the case, but the YC is more detailed with less blur, sharper than the CP, but then again the YC is the new and improved version.
Sadly it isn't comparing apples to apples,
The CP is closer to a Nord Stage 3.
    YC is above and beyond.
