Awesome video. For a stage keyboard it appears to be right up there with a Nord, as I understand the main selling point of the YC is it's Organs (even though you didn't demo them in this vid) in addition to all the other sounds. I wonder if the YC would have made a bigger splash overall if they had the rotary swell enhancement from update 1.2 in it from the initial release..!?

I really think you should let that copyright problem slide and give yourself another chance straight away. You just can't forget your most famous series like that, and you just have to make the song snippets shorter to avoid RUclips detecting it, as I mentioned a few months back. Unless you're still in the middle of a busy schedule, then I can understand, because I know someone who has a similar job as you, and I can imagine what his life is if he had a RUclips channel. But shouldn't you try again or something after a long time? We can't forget it eventually even though some other people are doing the series themselves and are using the same solutions, including me.

The only criticism of the Yamaha sound is that it is probably too direct/close mic sounding. But that is a good thing, its easier to tame a very present sound than attempt to sharpen a dull distant tone.
Having said that, in a live environment which has some natural room sound, the Yamaha will be the perfect instrument, sounding just like a close miked piano, in that room, with the room reverb adding the natural low pass filter, to dull the overall sonic, a little bit.
Listening on headphones or recorded directly from the audio outs, this does sound a bit too distinct/jarring to the ear, as presented in this video., somewhat disconnected and overshadowing the vocal, rather than laid back as an accompaniment piano should be.

When will you make a part 18 of copied songs
getting pretty hard to make these videos due to copyright issues. i’m hoping there’ll be a copyright reform soon so i can make the case that this series is educational and fair use.
You just have to make the sampled song snippets shorter so that RUclips won't recognize it. That's what i'm doing. Or at least make sure that the original/sample doesn't sound like the copyrighted track altogether.

if you must know, i recorded it MIDI and re-printed the audio (in stereo, yes) it after the singer left. I did this so I could tweak the patches with her voice already recorded.
