Action feels perfect for organ, really good for EPs. It requires a little getting used to for piano sounds but you can very easily tweak velocity curves to make it feel better
I would love to see Yamaha implement a organ bass pedal option in the next firmware update for external keyboard control, so when we connect any external board via midi we will have a bass pedal control option along with the upper and lower manual options. This would allow us to connect a midi bass pedal to our yc61 and playing real organ bass pedal sounds while still controlling the upper/lower manual on the YC
Excellent playing. The YC61 has some of the best sounds out...except the organ simulation...come on Yamaha you guys are much too good for a Hammond emulation attempt like that...everything else is killer. Up date the organ and rotary sim and I’ll buy one
Nice playing...It has very good tones. I think Yamaha is waited for long ....Roland Hammond Nord have similar keyboards. And Viscount Crumar Studiologic have drawbar organs too. Does the YC 61 have pipe organ tones ? If so how many ?

Yes you can layer 2 different keys sounds and and a organ sound at the same time, as well as set different velocity curves, split points, and levels for each. Using multiple sounds is really easy and robust on this board!
