Logan, the first step in using DOT fluid is to degas the fluid. DOT absorbs moisture annnnnd air. Since it absorbs air, when it is placed under vacuum, it will look like a freshly poured glass of champagne. So, using your syringes, you can eliminate most of the air in the fluid. Degassing prior to a fill and bleed will provide a firmer lever feel and a longer lasting bleed. Second item, true the rotors to have less than .002" runout. Bedding in the pads, ride like a human, avoid overheating during break in. Heat them up with normal riding and then stay out of the brakes for a few minutes to cool the rotor. That will give you a longer lasting pad and rotor with better, fade free dirtin'. Great channel, my friend!! DOT fluid cleans up with plain ole water!! Easy peasy stuff.
@@Danielxperez14 I'll start with the properties of DOT fluid. It absorbs both water and air. Place it under vacuum and it looks just like champaign. First is clean, fresh DOT 4 or 5.1. Next step is using a large syringe with a blockoff valve for the process. Draw the syringe filled with DOT and observe it's behavior.
