Hey Lovely Maria, thank you for inviting me. I agree with you: Donna EDP is perfection. Perfection because each note comes and melts with each other. None of them are too much. The florals gives a great support to the citrus notes and vanilla and sandalwood brings a creamy quality that is so charming. Longevity on my skin it’s not that great but I don’t mind at all. I bring a decant with me and reapply as necessary.
The EDT is brighter and a bit bitter but what I love the most is the Jasmin tea vibes that EDT exudes. It’s perfect for Summer days. I notice that the EDT and EDP dry down are quite similar and indeed EDT has poor performance.
The Intense version was a beauty to my nose until vanilla came too strong and kinda ruined the party. Intense is a perfect mix of EDP and EDT with a huge dose of vanilla and patchouli. Patchouli here is clean which I appreciate but with the vanilla overpowering every other note is hard to envoy all the beautiful notes the original EDP has. Intense lasts forever on my skin. Close to 10 hours, but after the wonderful opening the only thing I can smell is vanilla and patchouli. For that reason, EDP is a winner for me too. Yay twinsies 👯👯🎉

Trussardi Donna EDP is in my top ten for life!!! I love the citrusy fresh opening, and adore the pretty girl scent bubble!
I've recently bought the EDP and it's absolutely beautiful! I agree, it really is very uplifting and lasts well.

Edp definitely! I adore it. It was my first freshie, i heard someone said : its freshie for non lovers of freshie. And i totally sgree, it has lemon freshness but still sweet and really nice balanced. Not too sweet, not too harsh.
When i need energy boost i put this one on.

I'm so glad I found your channel. Love the imagery you describe with each fragance. I have this on my cart (the EDP) to use as my job fragance. I'm a fashion illustration professor and this perfume seems like it would perfect for that - fresh which I love but also elegant
I have the regular EDP, and I love it. I gave it to my niece as a gift, and she loved it so much that she is going to wear it on her wedding day.

I Love Trussardi Donna EDP. It’s amazing! Have you tried Signature from Mont Blanc EDP? It’s similar but more creamy, sweet and vanilla. I really find them both very very similar and beautiful 🤍

This video came just in time. I was looking to purchase Donna but was unsure which concentration would be best. EDP sounds like the winner for me. I want to have the lemon scent throughout day. I love Idole so Delicate Rose sounds very interesting to me. TFS💕

Great review, Maria! Love the cap of the intense version. I own the EDP formulation, but also the Pink Marina and Delicate Rose. The Pink Marina version to me is a bit lighter/ brighter version of the EDP with a fresh salty note which makes it a bit more airy and I adore it just as much as the EDP. The longevity on my skin is also great.
The first couple of times I used the EDP it wore off quite fast and found it also not really projecting very much, but the longer I own it the better it gets!
I haven’t wore the Delicate Rose much yet, because I think it’s more suitable for spring and summer. But it is my least favorite of all 3 so far. Will try it again once the weather gets warmer over here.

I bought the EDP not long ago and have not yet given it a full wear test. I wore it on my hand when I first got it and could hardly smell it. But I bought a bunch of fragrances that day and I think I wore out my poor nose. I am looking forward to trying it out soon. Especially now that spring is trying to arrive.

Isn't it good? The edt is beautiful. The rose version is good too.
I just purchased the "goccia a goccia" one, it doesn't last at all but is very lovely. If anyone is interested in it, know that you can tip the bottle and decant it with a funnel.

I wear 'A way to Her' and 'My Scent' by Trusardi. Gorgeous melon fruity in one and a lovely powdery heliotrope on a rainy day in the other which I love adore.

Lemon can lean a bit harsh on me so I could see the intense being a better option for me with that vanilla in the dry down ,does it have a vibe of sweet pastry in Paris ? Which is more like a lemon cake just baked !

It’s not pastry at all. That said, I hate Light Blue as the lemon goes sharp…and I’m not really a fan of traditional freshies and I like it.

Perfect timing. I bought it 2 days ago and waiting for it to arrive. EDP was sold out so I went with intense. I hope it will smell good. Otherwise I’ll source an EDP offshore (I’m in New Zealand). I’m excited about cozy and clean fragrances while I’m still working from home as we are rolling into autumn now.
Let me know how you like it!! If you find the dry down slightly bitter then I think the edp will be better. That said the intense may work great for winter!!
@@mariacollettlife it’s really interesting. A powder explosion and a shot of candied lemon. Then this yummy clean woody musk. It can feel like it disappears but apparently others can smell it 😁. It smells classy, clean and expensive - I don’t really get any flowers. Maybe a magnolia type scent? Any patchouli is quiet. I’m itching to get the EDP and compare/contrast the two. Luckily no bitterness or sourness. My skin makes things really sweet (can be a bad thing) so I’m cautious. I really enjoy it but notes aren’t very distinct.

Ah Trussardi Donna, Ive reviewed it a lot , theres no pastry gourmand notes thank goodness . It's a happy scent all about orange flower and Yuzu....

🗣Hi Maria, This Is Also One Of My ALL-TIME Favourite Perfumes!! (TRUSSARDI DONNA Edp) And Im NOT One Who Really Enjoys Lemon/Citrus In A Fragrance, As Most Go Sour On My Skin!! However, I Find This Bright, Fresh And VERY Up-Lifting!! Im Also Told That "Camilla The Queen Consort" Often Reaches For This Very Fragrance In Spring/Summer -Away On Royal Duties To Warmer Climates!! So There You Go Girl!!! Total Perfection In A Bottle!!!! Xx

Trussardi Donna EDP Intense is a bit old school and that patchouli note is to blame. Still lovely, but I'd only want a small bottle to top off the EDP in the evening. Sadly, not an option. I have the EDT and I love it to go walking outside, I probably would not repurchase. I had Pink Marina and sold it. It's pleasant, but didn't reach for it because is not interesting enough. The citrus in that fell flat for me. Trussardi Donna EDP is a masterpiece, hands down.

Have you tried Sound of Donna? I love that one. I haven't tried any Donna yet though, might have to get my nose on the edp

@@mariacollettlife it's probably way different then Donna. Sound of Donna is creamy nutty, it has almond and chestnut. To me it has a bit of a boozy quality like almond liquor although there isn't any alcohol note in it. It's more labeled as a fall/winter scent but I wear it year round actually. It gets compared to girl of now but I prefer SOD because GON can be a bit sharp while SOD is a bit softer because of the whipped cream note it has.
I found the EDP quite sharp and medicinal, not creamy at all..
Maybe I got a fake one 😅
I kinda got the same vibes. Not creamy to me and it is pretty sharp

Tbh even when I smell from the nozzle it's sharp, almost like a dentist clinic smell.. But I'm kinda weird, so I still like it. 😅😂
I live in a country which has hot climate. Which one should I get between the EDT and EDP? Since you said that you might choose EDT over the EDP if you live in a hotter climate.
I have heard some say that they find the edp cloying in the heat. It's a lot more dense so maybe in your winter use the edp..if it's super hot, go with the edt for sure! It's very beautiful but not as creamy smelling as the edp....it would be perfect for the hotter weather

@@louiseleite3866 I don't get many floral notes, just puffy soft and white "to me" cloud. I am not good at describing scents, but if you read reviews on fragrantica you'll get better idea. I agree with all reviewers there. It's beautiful scent and afordable too. I regretting buying smaller battle. I hope it helps..

I've got the EDP and I've worn it a few times but, on me, it's sort of fleeting and forgettable. I need to try it again and see if my impression has changed. Judging from all of the positive comments, I'm beginning to wonder if I might be partially anosmic to it?
It’s possible. The reality is that you just may not like it and that’s okay! There are some frags that everyone seems to love and I just think they are mediocre! 😀

I actually thought of you when I realized it was a greyhound! 🤣. The edt is fantastic for summer. They both work in the heat but it doesn’t get super hot and humid here.

I don't really like the edp. I found it too floral. I liked the lemon in it but then that floral comes in and after that I don't like it :( I love the bottle
