Versense is a must to have handy for me. It smells amazing 💚💚
The eau fraiche has been my favourite for over a decade now, I love how long lasting it is. I spray it on my robe in the morning, and it lasts all day, all night, and into the next morning. I enjoy the development of aroma it as the night goes on. Thanks for the comparison! Nothing beats the Chanel, for feeling elegant and beautiful, though.

I have both and I agree. chance eau fraiche is my favorite of the two. They are both nice but on me the versense I have to really overspray and it gets light really quickly and more floral but still fresh. Chance lasts most of the day on me and it’s zesty and woody. It’s a top ten lifer for me and one of my favorite scents for summer.
Thanks for your review. I have a 30 ml bottle of Versense (Shopper's $19.99) and I like it/not love. The bottle is perfect for travel and is lightly scented enough not to offend fellow travellers.
I've definitely been interested in how these compare, so thank you for this review! I think Versense is discontinued though, so I'm not even going to bother smelling it.

Chanel Chance is a lot more juicier , citrusy ,crispy whereas Versense is green woody ,kind of bitter . Both fragrances are absolutely inoffensive and perfect for spring /summer

Thanks for comparing these two fragrances 💚 Perfumes that smell similar in the opening can vibe so differently in the mid/dry down. That’s where great reviews like this are super helpful to distinguish what we want from our fragrance. 🙂

I’ve had both, and I have to go with Chanel! It just has a woodier, classier dry down.

The Versace one is the only one I can comment on.
I just recently received a sample, and was very disappointed. It just didn't appeal to me.
*Versace "The Dreamer" is aromatic and sweet; marketed towards men, but very unisex.
A good clean freshie scent.
Versense was loved last summer but this summer it’s sitting in the destash box… 😁 Love this Chanel though, it’s not going anywhere! 😉

I had versense and I thought it was just ok. I really really want the chanel one!!
I agree they are not that similar and the Chanel is so much better. I don't really care for Versence, I find it veers a bit too far into household cleaner for me. It's a pleasant scent, but not one I want to smell like. Chance Eau Fraiche is so nice, and develops beautifully on skin. I also agree that the Chance bottles are konda meh, especially for Chanel.
Chance EF is one of the best perfumes ever. My friend gave me hers to spritz after I'd been sick while out. It wad in her bag. It was so nice made me feel better as well.
That was 10yrs ago.
I since bought it and I love a lot of heavier fragrances such as Jo Malone oud and velvet Rose, orange blossom and also guerlain fragrances which are heavier silage. But if there is a fragrance to please on any occasion and not offend, it's Chance EF and followed by D&G light blue. Always get loads of compliments.
I applied Chance at 6am just to neck and wrist pulse points and my work colleague at 2pm,sat at least 2m from me got a wife and complimented me.
I tend to go nose blind with it but others definitely can smell it.

They have a chance eau fraiche edp now which would have even better longevity. I can’t wait to sniff that one. I still haven’t bout Chanel chance eau fraiche either. I love it but it’s hard on the pocket book!!

I currently have both. Of all perfumes ive had, the Chance one is the one that has gotten me more compliments!looove it!!! Versace's no compliments at all so far hahahhaah. I dont feel it throughtout the day

The versace versence for me smells like a soda for me. Smells like sprite but in a better scent version. I’m still waiting for the Chanel chance eau fraiche.
I’ve yet to try the Versace one, but do own Chance eau fraîche and it’s sad because I loved it when I first tried it and bought it, but now I’ve found myself already nose exhausted by the dry down, which to me has a hint of melon. Probably just my nose, but I’m using it as air/home freshener.
I heard someone else say they got melon from the dry down!

I prefer Soleil Crystal over Alien Goddess but honestly am not a huge fan of either. I think that Utopia by Kayali is a better coconut. I recently tried the new Alien Goddess (Intense version) and it was definitely better. I find Soleil Crystal too powdery and Goddess dries down weird on my skin. I LOVE La nuit tresor nude but it's not a typical summer coconut...hope that's helpful!
Bottom line, go with the one that you think about the most...I would try both on skin before purchasing though...Good Luck and tell me which one you choose!

I've called these 2 cousins not sisters. To me they are different enough to have both but I just don't think the Chanel is worth it like in terms of value.
