This video is years old but I’ve decided I want to do my CBT and I am watching as many videos and doing as much research on it as possible. I have no experience on motorcycles, mopeds or cars but I am really excited for the CBT.
Same. My CBT is tomorrow. It'll be the first time I'll be in control of a vehicle on the road and not just a passenger. Exciting and terrifying at the same time 😂
Wow, an entire Element B conducted in 15 minutes. Instructors I know take 45 mins to an hour, but then they talk about chain maintenance, coolant, grades of oil, odometer and trip meters, what a clutch is and how it works, engine braking, front and rear brake bias and which to use at different speeds, pad wear and all that stuff.
Hi Graeme, for this example they only concentrated on what was required for the CBT but we would never diminish the importance of learning the required maintenance information and the examples you have given above.
I'm currently training to become a cbt instructor so these videos have been very helpful! most of the info i need is here and the parts that arent such as chain and suspension i can teach myself. thanks for making these!
About to do my CBT in a week and since most learner riders don't plan to keep their 125's for very long, I'm considering to get the Lexmoto ZSX-F or the Honda CBF-125, but the decision is tough because the majority of people out there are saying that Chinese brand motorcycles are all bad & unreliable. It would be nice to get the ZSX-F. It may struggle a bit more to reach 70mph like the CBF but other than that, the quality seems decent enough. It'll be my first motorcycle though so the decision is tough...
Hello, if you are having a hard time deciding, have you seen this video? ruclips.net/video/odwWisUJsLg/видео.html The ZSX-R & ZSX-F are effectively the same bike they just have different fairings.
@@anonymousanonymous1987 Insurance is a mine field, there is too much that applies to the individual to give an example, but check the major comparison sites.
@@lexmotomotorcycles mate I really want a lexmoto lxr125 which is affordable but my insurances totals to £250 a month which is too much man , plus I'm paying £150 for car insurance, £400 a month is too much for me on £1200 wage .... insurance is a big scam wish it didn't exist , what a let down...I'll have to wait till I'm older when it's at £50 a month
You can't get any more power out of a 125, because they're not restricted. You can bore it out to a 150 or 180, but it wouldn't be learner legal anymore.
You can control the amount of engine power applied to the back wheel with the clutch. If the clutch is making partial contact and slipping then you can have greater control at low speeds and such.
You can place the L plate between the forks in the centre of the bike or at the side of the bike, attached to a single fork. You can use adjustable clips and bracket.
They should let you drive without a CBT if you had previous experience before it was a thing this would be mind numbing 😂 "turn let to go left and right to go right" 😂
Probably the best cbt videos on youtube
Poor lad is getting pissed on while the instructor is wearing a helmet.
It's character building!
Lol
Stingy instructor lol
Savage
Very good video, clear and concise - the instructor is a nice chap and I'd feel at ease if I was on one of his training sessions.

I agree the instructor here is very clear and concise. Not over complicated waffle like some other instructors I've come across. Very well explained.

Mine was about 5 minutes 🤣
Great videos. Feel more prepared for my CBT now :)
Brilliant instructor and so nice and easy explaining. Well done ! Top Class
How long would it have taken for the instructor to let him put his helmet on poor sod.
Element B is one of my favourite parts of the CBT
Excellent instructor, give him a pay rise!
We would if we could!

That looked a bit soggy, but the info given was useful.
love this instructor aha
Top guy!
Thats Fantastic
Good, BUT... what about chain? Suspension? Try using c-boltss instead of "bolts"
Fantastic 😂

i didn't know you could place your front L plate there. what about below the headlight?

Lexmoto UK may I ask about the position of the L plate at the rear end too?
For the back of the motorcycle, the typical place to attach an L plate is just under the registration plate.
I’ve got that helmet for my Vespa I’m resorting atm but I have a Honda x8rs 50cc automatic
