This is beyond awesome. The Hammons tune brought tears to my eyes! It was all down hill from there! 😂 tears buck dancing were released! I spent a week at Allegheny Echoes this past summer with the amazing Tim Bing as my teacher. Forever changed. Dwight Diller long time teacher, friend and mentor would have loved to see how much old time music IS going on. Thank you for this…Although late to the show, it’s right on time!
Just great fiddling. It's the kind you throw your hat down and start dancing and stomping. I'm glad I met you in at Nolin Ky. You introduced me to your wonderful music.
Excellent . Enjoyed the whole hour but particularly the Rose for Polly tune. So Polly was a girl who disappeared during the civil war in the hills? This tune was in discussion on banjohangout recently and not much was known of its history or who Polly was so this is a great insight! Also I note your comments re influencing bluegrass music. Jerusalem ridge springs to mind. Great hours lisening

Loved hearing the solo version of "dance all night". I really like that old recording of you all, and it's neat to hear the fiddle part alone.
This is fantastic. Thank you Mr McCoy
As young man hailing from West by God Virginia and beginning my fiddle journey, this serves as inspiration. Thanks.
We love your playing, and Scott loves hearing great 5-string! He's mostly making those these days. Next time you're out we've got to get together!
Thank you! I'm obsessing about old time music this week.
Absolutely wonderful
Glad I caught this live, and glad to have it to listen to again! Thanks Chance

Nice, except I do not need know about his personal politics. We had a radio playing all night long to keep the coyotes away from our sheep.
