Thank you for making this video. You helped save me some money. I replaced it following your instructions and it works great. I can finally be warm in my car again.
Great! Thank you for uploading this, my air is back on! Saved me a trip
Great video! Can confirm it also works with the Hyundai Accent.
Great video, very helpful! Saved me a trip to the garage
thank you I totally did it with ur help... and being only fix minimal things Im glad I was successful.!
Perfect, thank you. Had to use plyers to disconnect electrical connection but otherwise smooth. Thank you for the great video
How did you eventually do it? I tried for a good, long time and couldn't get the damn connector out. I didn't try using pliers though, as I don't want this to turn into a much bigger job.
i cant get it either wish there was a video
@@sarahschwartz4789 I got it out and broke it and now I cant put it back in. I also cannot find a replacement part for it so uh any ideas?
Very nice, thanks!
Thanks man! This helped me today
Glad I could help
How many screws do I take off to disassemble the cover? Do I take out glove box?
How about the resistor location , removal and replacement ?
Thank you very much!
Yyyyeah... You made that last screw look easy. I got a 06... And that damn thing is right up against the wall almost. I don't know if il be able to get it all back in... It looks like you gotta remove the inner dash section where the resistor sits... What year is that, mines 06 3.5 awd...
You’re the best
Thank you!
Thanks, take me 5 min this morning, i found the leaf....👍🏻
Thanks so much
So do you HAVE to undo the negative connector from battery first?
Does this work with the 2010 Accent as well?
Thank you.
That relay that you removed is that for the blower motor is after something else and just happen to be a convenient spot that they happen to mount it
Is there supposed to be a cover or “kick panel” covering the blower motor? I have a 2010 elantra that does not have one…
Where do you get the replacement part? All the ones I've looked at have the plug on the wrong end.
Thanks for sharing I have the same problem at this moment
Glad I could help
The blowah motahhh! 😃
Thanks for the video. However, I don't know what year that Elantra is, but it is not the same as my daughter's 2010 Elantra Touring. Either that, or some steps are missing. I have a shroud over the motor and several screws to remove long before I can access the blower.
Same!! How do you get that panel off?? I hane 2012 touring
@@NELLZ36900 there are several screws to remove the panel, then the blower is accessible. If I remember correctly, one of those screws was a bit of a pain to access and remove.
My man u need to show people step by step we don't know how u opened it
Glad at least this was easily accessible
Does anyone know where I can find this for a 2015 accent? I can’t find it anywhere. It’s similar but not exactly the same.
ty sir, truly
Great videos as always . Just recommended a question on Fixya about Saturn starter replacement to your site . Have a great weekend .
So the first connection, will not come off ,i used a flathead screw driver and it would move, the fun of a older car, thanks for the video at least i know what to expect when replacing this blower
The last screw is the hardest, that's "Sods law" lol :-D
It's the same law that allows you to keep 3 good bulbs, and help frends with two.
When you need one, it's faulty dispite testing good earlier on LOL :-D
Sods law.... i am going to have to look that up.
Have trouble getting the face plate off to get to the blower. Help
So you do not have to take the dash apart from what I see of this video and it don't look like you have to take the glove box out I'm just double checking to make sure it was just the best way to do it any easiest mine just stopped working work before I want to work him out of work turn it on nothing just a residual heat coming from the heater
I can tell my ac isn't blowing out very hard. Will replacing this fix that problem? Thanks!
Did you try replacing the cabin air filter? Could be dirty.
When I turned my heater on it doesn’t blow hot air. It blow cold air. is my heater blower motor not working? I have 2015 Hyundai Elantra
Hello richpin. I have a problem I could use help with. I own a 97 saturn sl2. My problem is the the car loses electrical power when I do simple things like trying to roll up the windows with them already rolled up. It will lose enough power from the alternator that it almost shuts the car off. Now a symptom has started where it has trouble starting sometimes now.I have had the alternator tested at the local parts dealer and it came back good.the battery I replaced. It seems like something is drawing off the alternator too much but I have everthing stock in the car.
Have you looked closely at the battery cables.
Yes they are frayed a little bit but not too bad. If that's an easy enough job I'll go ahead and replace them
Another input. I tested the battery using a multimeter and the batter came back 12 1/2 while off and 14 while running. I checked the cables and they seem to be in working order.
How did you release the electrical connector
Push on the tab and then pull it out
Mine has weak flow from the face vents would it be plugged. Or what would be broke
i have the same problem(face vent) and i still need help.
Most likely your blend door
Cabin Air Filter
No need to remove the battery for this job. at all.
Y el filtro donde esta
The doors inside must be stuck thay can put them on tester things
You missed quite a few steps to get to the motor
Can you explain what steps are missed? I'm doing this on next the weekend.
I can't, for the life of me figure out how to disconnect the cable from the motor. I like to think that I'm not totally clueless, but it had me totally stumped. I have the replacement motor and everything, but that stupid connector won't come out. Please help! (Anyone)
cut the wire
I asking about Acceny and you give me Elantra.
its Accent
IN ONE SUMMER I HAD A CEMETERY OF BLOWER MOTORS IN THE BACK OF THE SHOP & I NOTICE SOMETHING WAS WRONG ....ALL OF THEM WERE GM FAMILY..
Missing steps
