      How did you eventually do it? I tried for a good, long time and couldn't get the damn connector out. I didn't try using pliers though, as I don't want this to turn into a much bigger job.

    That relay that you removed is that for the blower motor is after something else and just happen to be a convenient spot that they happen to mount it

    Is there supposed to be a cover or “kick panel” covering the blower motor? I have a 2010 elantra that does not have one…

    Thanks for the video. However, I don't know what year that Elantra is, but it is not the same as my daughter's 2010 Elantra Touring. Either that, or some steps are missing. I have a shroud over the motor and several screws to remove long before I can access the blower.

      Same!! How do you get that panel off?? I hane 2012 touring

    • @johnscott6072
      @johnscott6072 Год назад

      @@NELLZ36900 there are several screws to remove the panel, then the blower is accessible. If I remember correctly, one of those screws was a bit of a pain to access and remove.

    The last screw is the hardest, that's "Sods law" lol :-D
    It's the same law that allows you to keep 3 good bulbs, and help frends with two.
    When you need one, it's faulty dispite testing good earlier on LOL :-D

    So you do not have to take the dash apart from what I see of this video and it don't look like you have to take the glove box out I'm just double checking to make sure it was just the best way to do it any easiest mine just stopped working work before I want to work him out of work turn it on nothing just a residual heat coming from the heater

    Hello richpin. I have a problem I could use help with. I own a 97 saturn sl2. My problem is the the car loses electrical power when I do simple things like trying to roll up the windows with them already rolled up. It will lose enough power from the alternator that it almost shuts the car off. Now a symptom has started where it has trouble starting sometimes now.I have had the alternator tested at the local parts dealer and it came back good.the battery I replaced. It seems like something is drawing off the alternator too much but I have everthing stock in the car.

      Have you looked closely at the battery cables.

    • @agreatdaytogame5614
      @agreatdaytogame5614 6 лет назад

      Yes they are frayed a little bit but not too bad. If that's an easy enough job I'll go ahead and replace them

    • @agreatdaytogame5614
      @agreatdaytogame5614 6 лет назад

      Another input. I tested the battery using a multimeter and the batter came back 12 1/2 while off and 14 while running. I checked the cables and they seem to be in working order.
