I decided to go big (rather than go home) for my birthday start this year. I went with Houses of Hawk Run Hollow. It’s massive and will likely take years to complete but it’s so beautiful. I am going to change the saying to something about home instead of death. I’ve been having a ton of fun reading through quotes by notable people for something that strikes my fancy.
I've only made it a little over halfway on my birthday start from last July, Cat Tapestry by Tiny Modernist, so my goal is to finish it by the end of the year. I'll pick a smaller piece for this years birthday. Always enjoy seeing your projects ☺️
Great stitching!! You will love Liberty Hills Needleworks! I live Bout 40 mins. from there. Was just there this past Friday. So much eye candy!! Really nice people there too!!!!
For my birthday stitch, I did a Cardinal pattern from Soda Stitch on Etsy. It was small, easy, and I got it finished. Why not wait and kit something up at Liberty Hill when you are there? That way it would not only be a birthday stitch but also a memory of your trip
Gosh, how many times has that happened to me too…. Did I buy it?😵💫 Was it delivered and I misplaced it?😵💫 I enjoyed seeing your projects. I was going to use Buttercup by CGT on Summer Quaker. Yellow is my favorite color because as you stated, it is so bright and cheery. Have a safe 4th
I am part of fat quarter shops club got log cabin Christmas. I know I received the first pattern in the series but I can’t find it anywhere! I hope you find your missing pattern. Have fun on your trip! I hope you get to go to the cross stitch shop!
@@BluebirdpaperandthreadI have 2 birthday starts that I haven’t finished so I don’t want to start another big one until those are finished. I was thinking about one little house needleworks needleworker type patterns. But my birthday is a ways away so who knows what I’ll decide by then. Still waiting for my hands to heal from carpal tunnel surgery…. 😢
Your videos are always such a treat, filled w eye candy and laughs!
Thank you!

I am excited to check it out.
We just returned from a vacation to Virginia, and you must stop at the cross stitch shop in Williamsburg. It is a beautiful store.
I am excited, and I’m sure we will stop.

I will consider that! It would be a great way to accomplish both in one piece.
Just came across your channel and enjoyed your video! I just kitted up Redwork Pears by Annie Beez. Happy stitching!
Welcome! I love the pears. They are on the long list. One day I will get to them.

At least I can use any duplicates to donate or give away, but still. Stitchy dollars are precious!

I hope you find your pattern too! It’s so frustrating. Where did it go?? Lol

I’m doing hometown as well. I taped it together and mine is not lining up either. It’s a big one but beautiful
It is, I am still struggling with that blue house! Now it’s the windows that are giving me issues.🤦🏼♀️
