Have had a Total Gym sitting in the basement for years. I could never wrap my head around following the manual that came with it, or even other videos that go too fast or don’t show you how to change the machine. Great job! At 64 years old and my first day back on new Total gym, I was able to follow along up to 36:21. Slight leg cramping, so I had to sit the rest out. Tomorrow I will finish the upper body part. Eventually I will get it all together 😅. I’ve done this all up to 20 years ago, but now I’m back to the Total Gym with a vengeance! It worked before so I KNOW it will work again. Thank you both for the help❤️

I saw another video with her "after" Lynn 1 year in. Great job! Very inspirational! This video was helpful for me as I completed my first workout, as it was a little slower paced explaining how to position yourself and set up for each exercise and allowed me enough time to complete the exercises along with the video. I was sweating big time and felt it!

Im 45 and used to be in great shape but have bad knees probably from sitting Indian Style my whole life and was afraid to mess them up more like Zumba did. 🥰First she looks good for 56!! 😂 I’m dying laughing because Lynn is me when I’m doing Rosalie’s workouts! So I feel her pain! I only do 10 minutes of all of the exercises above, because I need more core workouts than legs and back! Unfortunately this doesn’t provide a lot of core workouts!

If knees are an issue make sure you use the XL squat stand - higher foot position is much gentler on the knees- you can also play with your foot position- trining toes outward may lessen stress.
How is it going Lynn? I'm just starting my weight loss journey, this video inspired me. Easier to see we're not all slim & trim when we start out, but we'll get there. Thank you both for doing this video. 😊

The thing is it is actually FUN to use...I need the squat stand for mine because I just have the pilates bar and use it as a make shift squat stand...I just do 10 to 20 reps of different types of squats and rowing and all on mine though...
I can't seem to find ANY videos for the older total gym 1000. I don't have the footboard with mine. I've got like a arm bar that I don't even know how to fasten it to my gym 😢 can ANY body help me?? I know I need to exercise, I just don't know what or how to do it...

Love your videos! I’m just getting started. How many times a week should we do this? Does it help to lose weight? Is the higher harder or lower incline harder? How do you know where to position yourself on the board? Thank you so much.

I as well have the total gym and stopped working out on it a few years ago and am osteopenia/perosis and want to get started again. Are there any of those exercises I should not do. Also I have an older total gym and the pad for the feet is not large like yours. Can you get parts to that will adapt to an older total gym to make it look like the one you have?

The areas I would like to reinforce as a base as I get back into exercise is the lower back, hips, upper back between the shoulder blades and neck and I wondered if you would entertain doing a video for people who would like to rebuild their body, such as what you did after your hip surgeries. The videos would be at a slower pace but specifically targeting the weaker areas of the body and that could be different target areas for different people. In essence it is a rehab exercise video and it can be sectioned by areas of the body that need to be strengthened. All I can say is that you are amazing. Thank you for all that you do.

If knees are an issue make sure you use the XL squat stand - higher foot position is much gentler on the knees- you can also play with your foot position- trining toes outward may lessen stress.

The thing is it is actually FUN to use...I need the squat stand for mine because I just have the pilates bar and use it as a make shift squat stand...I just do 10 to 20 reps of different types of squats and rowing and all on mine though...

Have you tried it on level 1.. if it is too challenging… do seated ab twists with cables for your abdominals.

It must be an issue with what your watching video on… it’s perfectly clear … she is using pull-up bars I’m first 1/2 of video … again check the other video link if you are having problems

You could place the bottom of total gym up against a wall. Then place your feet on the wall to do your squats.

I as well have the total gym and stopped working out on it a few years ago and am osteopenia/perosis and want to get started again. Are there any of those exercises I should not do. Also I have an older total gym and the pad for the feet is not large like yours. Can you get parts to that will adapt to an older total gym to make it look like the one you have?

The areas I would like to reinforce as a base as I get back into exercise is the lower back, hips, upper back between the shoulder blades and neck and I wondered if you would entertain doing a video for people who would like to rebuild their body, such as what you did after your hip surgeries. The videos would be at a slower pace but specifically targeting the weaker areas of the body and that could be different target areas for different people. In essence it is a rehab exercise video and it can be sectioned by areas of the body that need to be strengthened. All I can say is that you are amazing. Thank you for all that you do.
