Look into proper storage conditions or your lovely coat will be ruined, especially by moths. A cedar chest (recently sanded) would be perfect. @@IsabellaDemarko Lavender sachets padding it inside the sleeves and torso part when folded also help.
Definitely keep using your grandmas fur coat - what's done is done so we must use what we have and not let the resources to go to waste. Yes, producing fur these days seems like an unethical thing to do but being aware of it and putting disclamers as you did is the right way to approach this.

May be you can try vlogging, showing daily life. Or you can include thrift flip to match the aesthetic vibe you're going for in same kind of videos. You can set a poll asking what kind of videos people wanna watch. I guess survey would be helpful.

Regarding fur, I believe that there are people and cultures who probably benefit from it, and maybe need it to survive extremely low temperature - not that I'm an expert, but logic would suggest they are still in need somewhere... As fas as fashion wise though, second hand is definitely the way to go, whether real or faux.
I really love your channel because you deep dive into any project that interests you, you are always polite and kind in the way you present yourself, and your videos are both fun and informative. When you started this exploration it is clear that you are trying to do it in a considerate way, both to the environment and to any people watching who might not have the funds to actually go and buy a whole new wardrobe - like many of the videos we see on aesthetics suggest. You show that it is completely possible to both experiment and be mindful. And get some amazing outfits of course!
I wonder if you've ever explored kibbe's body types and kitchener's essense style guide? It was extremely fun for me and opened up a lot of possibilities in my clothes and styling that I had never considered!
I do wish you stay on the platform, but of course you should do whatever is best for you and your future. It's very obvious that in order for a creator to stay on youtube they need to produce feature films or just pump out content every ten minutes, so I understand. Hopefully there's a way to have it all, but maybe that's a greedy thought.... Regardless it's always fun to see you pop up on my feed, so thank you :)

You look fabulous! I don't know how you feel about color analysis, but I feel pretty confident that you're a true spring. You would look absolutely amazing if you added some chocolate and cream colors to your neutral clothing. Either way, you look so awesome!

girl i completely understand you with the heatless curls, at the beginning nothing work until a try many times the sock method, i don’t know why but it doesn’t work with silk (at least for me) hope this helps!

The belt is probably not manufactured wrong. I spent most of my teenage years obsessed with a 3 tear bracelet that looked similar. It used to twist in weird ways that made it look impossible to untangle
it was manufactured wrong, cheaply in China. It was twisted and not linked to the belt properly, did not look good. I’ve since fixed it and it now look way Better!

I have a real fur - a warm brown mink stole/ shrug I'm maybe the 2nd or 3rd own and I got it at a estate sale. I wear it to stay warm in my drafty home at my commuter ot keep my arms warm. and to church in the late fall and winter into cold spring .Faux fur isn't sustainable it'll turn into microplastics that harm wildlife after it gets thrown away. I support 2nd hand fur. it'll last several generations if properly stored and cared for then it can be composted and will eventually return to the earth !
I think you should wear your vintage fur as much as you want, whenever you want :) you have such an eye for fashion! Another great video!!!

As a fashion student, I just wanna say that faux fur is not necessarily "ethical", since you are contributing to the production of synthetic fibers which will NEVER decompose in comparison to real fur. Yes, shop second hand to use up what is already in the world, but if you're looking to purchase new I would suggest looking into brands that are more transparent with their skinning process.
side note: Even if you quit youtube i hope you still upload a short here and there and just to update us on life :/
Faux fur has its problems being part of fast fashion and plastic pollution… but I still feel animal cruelty is worse, ethical skinning is something that will sadly never be universal unless laws change :( I truly believe second hand is the way to go! @IsabellaDemarko it may not be done on a greater scale in the industry, but you make a difference by putting your dollars towards brands you feel passionate for. but i understand you may not be comfortable constantly wearing animals.
It's fun to try out different aesthetics and all but you don't seem comfortable in these outfits and they look a little seperate from you. But your 90's-00's outfits go perfectly with your pyhsicality, personality and lifestyle. We can adore a style and not be so revelant with it, it's fine. Also, realistically, where are you gonna wear all these outfits to? Are they gonna be practical enough to run errands in for hours? Are you even gonna reach for them on a regular basis? Is it gonna be a second nature to you to put an outfit together when you're short in time and the fit you come up with still embodies this exact vibe? I don't think it goes well with you imo. Your own style looks much more chic on you.
I can understand your insights being on the outside perspective. These outfits arnt meant to be practical - this series is an exploration into glamour, having fun and playing around with different looks, being more inventive and creative! Elements of Which may or may not merge into my every day style. But also, am nearly 30, and my taste in style and clothing is naturally evolving and changing. My old style isn’t going anywhere, I love it still very much! But what’s wrong with experimenting and having fun with a new interest ? :) x

For the fur I guess maybe being super clear that it’s vintage fur (and that it’s way more ethical than faux fur), on social media. Idk in real life tho it’s not like you can stick a note on the back that says it’s vintage lol

Isabella! I dont know if you will see this, but youtube doesnt want to show when you have new videos. I am from Hungary, I am subscribed, I hit the notification bell and everything, but it is not giving me any notification. From the other youtube channel, which I subscribed for I get notifications. And also, I have to type all your name into the searcher line, so then you pop up. And also on the main page of youtube, you never come up, even though you are one of my most watched youtuber. Something is weird with the algorithm. It could be the reason you cant get enough followers.

I really wish this wasn't a thing. Not the look itself but calling it mob wife. My family is Sicilian American- if you're looking for the kind of thing that we did with hair, try hot rollers. We used the old conair ones. You will need hairspray and teasing to do most of the looks, and I'm allergic to hairspray but there is supposedly a scent free spray.

I liked the first look you did the best, as for the fur coat it's already been made into a coat so your not adding to it by wearing it, you should wear the fur coat more imo get use out of it.

My opinion on fur is that it should never be produced or harvested, furs are cute but they belong to animals not people or a land of garbage where all fast fashion goes...people need to get real and stop being so materialistic, our planet is already very contaminated and entire species could become extinct for a piece of luxury...i know some communities use fur to protect themselves from the cold so they are excused but a trend is not a valid reason to keep skinning animals or producing more plastic. If one wants fur, buy whats already made.

I think you need to glow up your room, make it more grown up. The clips you take in the more stylish areas, are a stark contrast to your bedroom. I'd loose the posters, the clutter and make it more elegant. The playboy cushions etc are downgrading your look. Hope you don't take offence. I have enjoyed your clips.
If you really step back and think about what you’ve just said… you’ve essentially suggested that I take away the things that I surround myself with that make me happy, just to fit with an aesthetic. Yes I take offence, re-read your comment and imagine someone said that about your bedroom, telling you to remove the things that make you truly happy, so that your bedroom looks more sophisticated and mature, to please THEM rather than yourself. I watched two of your videos as part of a research project on Mob Wife aesthetic for a client. I couldn't work out who your target market is. You look twenty something but your bedroom looks like a 14 year olds. RUclips is all about branding. Yours is off kilter.
