i never really had brats & don’t have knowledge about any of this but i find this series so inexplicably entertaining lol
aw haha yay! x
Same
Same!
@@IsabellaDemarko where do you watch Bratz
Samee i was a MH and barbie child
what you could do, you could boil cloe's head so the plastic becomes softer and you could probably fit tweezers in the hole to get it. make sure when you get it out, that you kinda shape her head back to normal, because it can sometimes look squished. hope this helps!
yes thats the plan! i saw it in one of a thousand splendid dolls videos thankfully! i will be trying it out next week x
@@IsabellaDemarko If it doesn't work out you could always super glue the head back on ! Just means the head won't twist :/ but for display purposes it could work !! I hope you manage to fish out the hook and fix the mechanism though !
Wouldn't putting it in boiling water affect the paint on the dolls face though?
@@vicstarlight333 no it doesn't :)
Alternatively, a hair dryer at the pointed at the joint area also works to soften the vinyl. This would help with both the smaller and larger Chloe's heads.
I can’t believe its already been 3 years!! This is my comfort series and i watch it every night when i feel sad or stressed and it makes me feel so happy and relaxed, PLEASE DO MORE BRATZ VIDEOS PLS PLS PLS 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
aww thank you xxx I think I will!
Same please do more brats videos I just love them and this is my happy place 💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝
20:55 the way your brother laughed and the way you two are having this much fun is so fucking awesome lmao
😂😂
You are amazing! Love Adalyn
Coming from someone used to broken neck pegs and doll heads, here's a tip for getting the peg out of the head! In general I hope it helps anyone out there in the same situation :) Note that this only works for vinyl/soft heads - if the doll's head is hard plastic, it's a whole other beast and I'm afraid I haven't figured that out yet! You can find out what material the head is pretty easily; if it's flexible or has any give at all (lets you push in with a nail even slightly), it's probably vinyl. Vinyl is cool because heat will let it "bounce back" to the form it was originally cast in if it's misshapen or has some dents on it!
Now, what you need if you want to get a broken peg out;
- Long needle-nose pliers (you want them to be as long and thin as possible!) OR heavy-duty tweezers (they have to be durable and be able to grip the peg)
- A thick towel or heat-resistant glove
- Boiling water and a cup/bowl to dunk the head in OR a hot hairdryer (though I'd recommend the water to spare your doll's hair, hair dryers will make it frizzy)
Essentially, you want to soften the vinyl of the head enough so that you can squish it without damaging it. Heat will do this temporarily - once the vinyl cools down, it'll be back no normal, so no worries there. Dunk the head into the hot water (focusing on the neck area!!) and let it sit until it's soft and squishy. Then you can take your pliers and fish out the stuck piece. The squishiness will allow you to be kinda rough and yank the piece out without any permanent damage - just remember to keep the vinyl hot and protect your hands from the heat! Also if you want to keep the doll's hair, try to be careful and not yank on the hair plugs inside. Using a bright light to hold the head against should help you see what you're doing better :)
As long as you don't tear the vinyl, there won't be any damage done to the head, so this is a safe thing to do to any doll with a vinyl head! I would also highly recommend warming up the head EVERY time you remove a doll's head - the plastic of the neck gets fragile the older it is, but vinyl doesn't! Heating it up with boiling water is perfectly safe and won't damage it. The plastic holding the neck peg in place is what you need to worry about :)
Speaking of, as for the broken neck itself; it's a lot more difficult to work with plastic. Plastic doesn't "bounce back" like vinyl does, but you can still heatform it if you try - you just risk not getting it exactly how it used to be. If you're fine with your doll only being able to turn their head right to left but not up-and-down, you can just glue the peg into the neck and be done. If you want there to be actual movement, well... It's a process and kind of impossible to just explain. I'm sure someone has made some sort of tutorial online! I would make one but I don't have my set-up complete yet bor do I have any broken dolls at the moment.
Anyway, I hope this helps!
When you repaint a cabinet like that you actually disassemble the whole thing. Use a screwdriver and take off the shelves and detach the sides of the cabinet. The glass will easily come out then and you will be able to to sand and paint with ease. Then you could even attach battery powered circle lights/ wire some cheap LED strips to the tops of each shelf to make some lighting
Hey Isabella! I’m just starting out as a seamstress. If you want to design your own outfit for Katia, I would love to make it for you! X
this is such a good idea!
Don't worry about your first edition Cloe cause Bratz are coming back in July releasing in amazon the first edition dolls again and Rock Angelz in October
Omg I can't wait I am a HUGE bratz fan
Do u know if they will be like the older bratz?? I prefer those over the ones from the 1st reboot
@@makeuplover_99 Yeah OFC you should follow @lookingbratz on Instagram, they publish all the news about the dolls! Even Bratz posted online their Instagram that they don't Want to know anything about the re-boots they want to bring the classic Bratz style
@@arminforever9471 awesome. Thank you so much..
But like I think she has some attachment to her 1st edition Cloe. Hers is old and special and the new one coming..... well it is not
i once spoke to my hairdresser about this with my dolls and she said to wash their hair in laundry conditioner as it softens it more than regular hair conditioner
This!! I find fabric softener works fantastic for synthetic hair plus it smells great for any second-hand dolls. The actual conditioner won't do much besides give the hair less grip when detangling.
This is true but it turns white blonde shades yellow!
@@MJ-ks9qq as that's annoying, possibly try a white fabric softener maybe? or would that have the same effect
@@jesscervi5366 no they all do it!!! It’s something in the fabric softener’s chemical mix that reacts with the plastic in some doll hair types!
Etsy might have some clothing options, doll customisation resources might point you in the right direction for the clothes and the chloe's head
I’m not mentally prepared for this series to be over tbh😭😭😭
Same
"this day was fine until we had a car accident" i don't know why but i literally laughed OUT LOUD at this
26:14 that Angel bag is EVERYTHING!!! 💖💖💖
I applaud the amount of dedication you have for restoring all of these lovely dolls!
They all look lovely at the end!
I wish boil-washing worked on real hair lol
lmao SAME can you imagine
here’s a tip for ur giant cloe!! if you use a flat iron in a low setting, the ends become way less frazzled!
I’m the 1th fan of this series
Seriously, though. I never had bratz dolls as a kid, but seeing you regain your childhood passion is amazing to watch. It’s so entertaining and always puts me in a good mood :)
HAHAHAA I LOVE THIS COMMENT
Hey love, if you put Chloe's head in boiling water, that will soften the vinyl, then you can remove the piece with some needle nose pliers or tweezers (I think the pliers would work better). Then to reattach the neck peg you will probably need some wire, a drill and some glue to recreate the thing that was holding the peg. You can always look up here on RUclips on how to fix it, but if you can't find anything, doll customizing channels such as Dollightful might give you a light on how fix the peg. I'm positive you can do it yourself!
yes ive heard of that technique and that's the plan! xx thanks
@@IsabellaDemarko No problem 💕💕 Also I'm in love with your bratz series, I don't want it to be over 😭🤣xoxo❤
I am so jealous of your freckles! I didn't really have a lot of dolls as a kid but this series has kind of made me wish I did because it kind of seems fun to wash their hair and stuff? Although I could never have this many! I'm thinking like... three is enough....
thank you! i actually do them with fake tan maybe I should make a tutorial x
@@IsabellaDemarko oh please do! They totally had me fooled!
Heey love this series!! For giant Choe's hair try soaking it in fabric softener: it works wonders ;)
if you're interested in a quick fix for your dresser, try contact paper! I'm fully addicted to it, in the states you can find it in the dollar tree
do before and after photos for the website!
yes good idea!
With the little Cloe head issue, it's a pretty straightforward fix, heat up the head (hot water) and use something to loop the neck peg on to, I've used angled tweezers, and yank it out of there. Once it's out thread through the bar of plastic you had through the loop and see if you can pop that inside the neck heating the neck up. If it won't go back in you can drill a tiny hole (use a hand drill) through the neck and get a small piece of wire to insert into the drilled hole, threading it through the loop of the neck peg in the middle and securing the wire of the outside of the neck with a dab os super glue.
I was just about to make a comment on that thanks to all those doll custom vids I've seen during the past 2 years
I love watching these. Your passion for them is kind of infectious! You should consider some strip lighting inside your doll cabinet :)
True💕
You should try using fabrics softener for their hair. Usually people use if for plastic wigs. You should look it up 😃
these vids r so comforting i luv it
Use leather paint for her dress!!! Love this video btw ❤
Aghh a 30 minute bratz video yay!
Awesome update. The moment between you and your brother was so cute. This is one of my favorite youtube series. ♥️
Sis gave them real glow up😭✋🏼
Her saying that the jumbo choles head broke me thinking of earlier in video when she kept shaking her head back and forth lol 😹
it was already loose for years.
You’re unlocking such deep memories of my childhood showing your dolls 😂 the big baby Jade, tiny bratz, football Yasmin (she was my absolute fave 😍) ugh I’m loving this series
I have just spent my Sunday morning watching this series from the beginning. I’m 28 now and I still feel sad my dad threw out all my bratz dolls as my collection was absolutely huge as a only child literally had nearly every series full the brim as my family used to make sure I had nearly all the dolls per set ( especially my grandad as it was our thing, I have so many photos of us playing with my bratz dolls 😭😭) I had all the furniture , the playsets , the posters, the PlayStation 1 , PlayStation 2 & DS games , you name it I can guarantee I had it lol I was OBSESSED! 😂✨ so thanks for reminding me I wasn’t alone in collecting them up to the age of 15, they were my ultimate comfort. And I am now debating as a mother of 3 kids (ha!!) to maybe restart collecting certain ones now I have my own space In my bedroom as we have shelving space 🥰 I have really enjoyed this so Thankyou very much for making my Sunday morning! Xxxxx
Was waiting for this after the amazing Bratz - BoJack Horseman crossover😂
My current favourite series is back!! Amazing job girl, they look amazing!! :)
So glad that it's not the last video of this serie! I love it so much :)
i just wanna say, ur doll at 30:25 is fixable. taking consideration that the piece inside the head might not get out. Even if u manage to get it out, repairing it might be tedious since it's such tiny pieces. I feel like it would be easier to make another mechanism and take advantage of the structures we have. It'll be way easier to explain in person and show it with the doll at hand, but i'll try writing it. i might also do a video and try to emulate what im trying to say. the link would be here. but it might take a while...
So, if u look closely, there isn't just a hole in the head, there's also a hollowed out section around the hole (reference 30:38 ) , it looks like a hemisphere. get a sturdy wire (coat hanger wire is a nice choice), cut it smaller the length of the diameter of the "hemisphere" but longer than the diameter of the neck hole.
on the other hand, there's a beam inside the neck hole in the body (u can see it at 30:19 on the left). thread a tiny elastic through the beam, and catch both ends using a stick.
Then with the head, pierce the vinyl with one end of the wire inside the head, as close to the neck hole as possible. Then, slip on the ends of the elastic onto the wire. u might want to keep the stick in place to catch the elastic if it slips off.
Pierce the other end of the wire inside the other side of the head as straight as possible. The wire would stick out on both sides in side the head, but it shouldn't be visible on the outside. Remove the stick if u kept it in place. it should be pretty secure, since the vinyl should grip it tightly.
Pls take this with a grain of salt. i dont have the doll at hand, so things might work out a bit differently. u can do this!
I just did mental gymnastics trying to imagine what you were saying and you’re totally right it would absolutely work that way, good job
@@susanatsatourova6953 yes someone understood, I can die happy
I’m glad that you are so proud of your collection and love for Bratz after saying you were embarrassed to admit it as a teenager and you should be proud of this project!
The dedication!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Your cabinet looks reallygood with the white card! And I truly hope you can fix your Cloe heads
thank you!
I’m loving your Bratz series!!
thank you!
Brats dolls are still awesome after all these years..❤
This is literally amazing I still have some of my bratz dolls but like I have zero idea what happened to their clothes zero idea what happened to the shoes or accessories when i was about 6 to like 11 it was like play now ask questions later and by time i turned 12 monster high dolls were the rave and being 12 I preserved them better than my bratz
Best youtube series ever
You should put some silica packets in those cabinets to prevent the dolls from getting mold!
Not sure if you’ve figured out how to get first edition Chloe’s head back on, but it might work if you make a tiny wire hook to go through the hole. It should be able to grab the plastic head hook and retrieve it, but it’ll involve a lot of tilting to get the plastic head hook at the right orientation to get it out of the head hole. I hope it works ❤️
And for big Chloe, you can buy silicone at the hardware store and mould it quite easily to form the “shelf” for her neck.
Another thing that may make this easier is warming the head with a hair dryer. It will soften the plastic and make it easier to pull the anchor out without potentially breaking it. Also, you have the same name and initial as my mother! lol.
Heating PVC (what dolls are made of) can be really dangerous because it can release chlorine in the air. There’s also no way to tell if any of the paint for their detailing contains lead, which is an added hazard for heating dolls.
I’ve seen a couple comments on here recommending heating the dolls so they’re more malleable, but I’d only try that after all other solutions have failed.
Hey where did you get the Cloe first edition top you’re wearing? It’s so cute 🥰
For the big doll, you could get some PVC, the type that is moldable when heated, and do another neck peg, I think it could work as I saw someone on doll tumblr do this some years ago
You would need some tools to cut and sand down the plastic though
You can find a random cheap barbie on a thrift store and steal her neck peck for the other smaller doll
The washing part is so satisfying, tysm for leaving that part in ❤️
Take it to a doll repairing shop, they will be able to fix both of them... And it will not cost a lot... It happen to my favorite Baebie doll and I was crying for days... Someone recommended to me and I'm really happy with the results...
Its 4am here, so glad im up
You neeeeed to do a little diy on those bookcases. Paint them white or another color. It would be quick and I think it would really highlight the collection better.
... ? i did
i don’t know if you watched until the end but they get painted in this video hehe
Definitely get some fairy lights for your cabinet! ❤️
I remember maybe a few years ago I was looking at some dolls in my family room, and there was a cabbage patch kid doll with rubber bands in her hair. But I didn't realize how old it was until I dug my nails into the band and they split apart like butter
Episode 5 was big! Big babies, big hair, lots of things going on here. I do love the other lovely ladies you bought to add to your collection.
Also the Princess Bratz line looks beautiful.
You did a good job. I was about to try and get a couple stans off my Bratz doll when I seen this video was up. You Bratz dolls are so beautiful.
omg yesss its back !!
Thanks to these videos they have inspired me to recollect all the Bratz I had from my childhood and restore them. Currently have Wintertime Wonderland 2nd Edition Cloe and am waiting for the Twinz Phoebe and Roxxi.
IM SO EXCITED FOR THE PART 2 FINALE 😍😍😍😍
yes i am rewatching this bc im so invested in this series.
You can apply clear nail polish on the dress and it will help with the cracking
OMG YOUR FRECKLES ARE FREAKIN ADORABLE!!!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍😍💖💖💖💖😍😍😍
thank you its fake tan i might make a tutorial soon x
@@IsabellaDemarko it's fake? 😲........ GENIUS!!!😲😍....I really thought you had actual freckles!!!😍😍😍
I love her freckles!!
So jealous of her collection 😍😍
On your website, you could talk about your thoughts about the Bratz revival and what you want to see from it.
thanks for the idea x
Isabella Demarko your welcome 😊
Isabella you so need to get Hayden Williams Bratz collector dolls, I hope you can save your Cloes
I'd love to see a full collection video when you're done, which dolls from which collections you have 😍
So excited for the finale!
For the fist edition Chloe, buy a pair of long pliers for jewelry making so you will be able to reach it.
I love all these Bratz vids. It will be bittersweet to watch the finale next time!
OMG I DIDNT KNOW THAT WAS A SHOW!!!! I played the Nintendo ds game version with the same storyline!
OMG BEEN WAITING FOR SO LONG
as soon as i saw that bindi on the doll i was transported back to my very short bratz phaze when they were advertising that film. i can still hear the jingle.... i never got to see the film
Bratz genie magic!
Don’t work through doll hair when it’s dry. It’ll damage it more. Work through it while it’s wet and coated with conditioner.
Hi I do doll restorations and for really bad hair you can try to use fabric softener instead of conditioner that might help with the big cloe and I would also recommend doing a careful trim of the bad parts of her hair. It’s hard to save everything but your doing a good job!
14:53 Fearless is still my pick up song
Been waiting for this!!
i am LOSING it over the bojack part. even when i first started watching bojack a few years ago and heard his mom's voice, i immediately recognized it as birdine!
i literally know you for the bratz nerd i remember being a child and seing those videos and this series is amazing i cant wait for episode 6
I watched your curly hair videos so cool. You really put effort into those videos as usual ❤️ just wanted to say, that you also should try leave in, Creme and then gel or mousse technique. I think in the past you just used gel. Your hair needs moisture so use a leave in and cream first and then some gel for hold.
If your hair needs protein, it’s really week and stringy. Then you should use protein treatments and protein based products
You're so pretty! Love your freckles😍
thank you i do them with fake tan x
This was probably the most satisfying out of all the episodes so far.. really made me happy to watch. (other than the heads coming off of course.😳 ) The starrin' and stylin' thing was hilarious🤣 my brother is the same at memorizing bratz. Also, the card thing was a really good idea! The cabinet is looking amazing! 😍 So looking forward to the final episode! 😁
i’m so invested in this series
I have found that argan oil lotion on the frizzy hair and leave it a few days then boil washed it then repeat. Do a few times and eventually the hair is very soft.
Omg your hair looks soooo good and healthy 😍😍
I could be talking about how gorgeous and amazing you are, but I know that’s already been done so I wanted to suggest you prime and paint the display case white, and then get led lights to put in each layer. That way you can really see all of them clearly while maintaining and giving them the care they need in a space that keeps out dust and other germ/moisture.
Okay this was my recommendation before I saw what you ended up doing and I think that was such a smart, environmentally safe, and resourceful idea!! Love you darling!
If you can get the thing from the inside you can take a needle and stab it through the side of the of that the neck plug and use it to connect the Head plug back in hope this helps😊
I have a bunch of dolls I need to get out of storage and can't WAIT to fix them! And this motivates me SOOOO much!
Edit: on Chloe that's how my one doll is!
OHMIGOD those movie clips take me back, I need to rewatch still have the video casette
@Isabella Demarko, don't be discouraged about breaking Chloe’s neck peg! They have always been so flimsy and fragile, so it was bound to happen eventually. There are some people on the internet that have already covered how to fix a broken neck peg, and even though those dolls aren't explicitly Bratz it may help you out. Also, TIP: to reattach the head it would be a lot easier if you heated up the dolls head with a hairdryer for about 3 minutes. It won't hurt it, I promise, it just warms up the head and makes it go on easier. Really enjoying the series!!
You could get some strip led lights and put them in your cabinet to bring light inside 💖
Your brother is awesome! I wish my bro was like this with my love of Bratz
I hope she see’s this but soaking the dolls hair in fabric conditioner with allow her to style it and detangle it a lot easier
hello sorry i am sending this tow years later but i really enjoined watching this series it was very good i only own some bratz shoes and one doll and 2 bratz big horses i am i bratz fan but they are very hard to find but thank you for making this series and all your over bratz videos so just wanted to say that your a great youtuber and a very lovely person so thank you.
If you decide that getting it out is too hard or could hurt your doll, I’d recommend getting polymorph to make a new peg to glue to her body! It’s a plastic that when hot can be reshaped. Or maybe you could just use a donor part from another doll? Good luck never the less
Your collection is so insane 😍 I’m jealous
My Triiiplets Valentina also went thru the same your 1st Ed. Cloe got. Try making a big paper clip and make it a hook (make sure it wont fall off) and then hook the hole that connects to the body (the one that fell) and try to put it in hot water for the head to be soft and then try a mini twizzers or scissors to like pull the head hole widely so that the peg will come out
For your display cabinet, you could get some small strip lights to glue or staple into the cabinet as a backlight or overhead light for each row. Then drill some small holes to wire the lights down through the cabinet and out the back to plug in to a socket. Perhaps that would solve the issue of the shelves being too dark.
First edition Chloe is the first Bratz I ever owned. This exact thing happened when I played with her in like 2005. My grandpa is super handy and managed to mend her, but I had the exact same reaction - Also seeing it was my first as well.
Cannot wait for part2 I’ve loved this series so far 💕
