Absolutely awesome stuff. Wish I had the approx £8K needed to buy a complete Tiger 1 or Panther kit. I could really sink my teeth into a project like that.
Nice to see the open day just too far to get there. Those tanks are beautiful and always wanted one. But cost and nowhere big enough to store one was the issue. But they brought out the Universal Carrier and now living the dream build.

It is a bit pricey but you only get what you pay for, desperately trying to justify one to myself, love the Chieftain, heart says yes head says no, get the roof fixed and maybe!!.

I got one of those henlong panthers, the smoke never worked and the gun decided one day not to elevate anymore. For gods sake don't take it apart , that voids the warranty. No servos inside to replace just some janky electronic junk that breaks as soon as it gets used.
It’s not the money for me. The problem are the skills needed to maintain one. Without a repair shop nearby like for an automobile it would be impossible.

@@challyho6375 more up of 200lbs , the elephant is 95kg alone. And that’s one of the slightly lighter ones I think.

Wouldn't Armortek be able to help with that, if you get stuck ? There are also plenty of RUclipsrs with these machines that could potentially help.
I wanna visit this place one day. And If I made stupid amounts of money and I have 20k to blow, I might just be taking a Tiger 1 home with me.
